I've run Destro briefly, with a front bar consisting of Crushing Shock, V. Curse, Frags, Surge/Entropy and Mages Wrath.

Destro is great for a constant pressure playstyle, while Dual Wield offers a higher burst damage potential

Regarding regen, a key to this style of play is to have just enough sustainability to stay mobile and alive, with everything else going into damage. For my build the balance looks something like this:

Sustain:

2 x Engine Guardian
5 x Seducer, all Impen
1 x Cost Reduction jewelry
Restoration Staff heavy attacks, where necessary
70+ CPs in both Arcanist and Magician
Breton racials

Damage:

Dual Wield innate spell damage bonus
2 x Torugs Swords, both Sharpened
2 x Spell Damage jewelry
100 CPs in Elemental Expert
50+ CPs in Spell Erosion

Both Sustain & Damage:

64 points in Magicka
Mage mundus

Of course, there are many different ways to achieve an effective balance between damage and sustain, but hopefully this gives you a good idea on how I went about it. I'm always making little tweaks and chages to see what works better for me.

While I've been running Overload less and less lately, that quick and easy combo has earned me plenty of colourful hate tells. Maybe I'll make a compilation vid of those one day...

Brilliant thanks for the advice, took a break from ESO to come back seeing the majority of Pugs running seducers on their Sorcs, was wondering what's up with that lol. Used to run 5x Kag 3x Magnus Destro/Resto, and I prefer the Destro playstyle personally, but I'll have to try Kags vs Seducers now I think.

Kags + Seducer should work great! If you find yourself having sustain issues, try swapping the Mage mundus for the Atronach - this is a good swap to handle the increased costs and associated sustain issues with the DB patch.

Any tips on playing the Overload Sorc? I just finished farming my Elegance set and was thinking about going Seducer + Elegance + Kena + Blood Spawn. How do you think that would work out? And also when you need an emergency heal when in Overload, what do you do ?

My bad, that entropy was going the other way! I just switched from surge to entropy for the empowered frags, I thought most dual wield setups did the same.

Are you running inner or radiant light in your last slot?

Doesn't matter if it's working as intended or not. Matters if it's balanced.

Imbalance exists because game designers are flawed. Don't assume that their intent is perfect.

The set was balanced, even borderline underpowered compared to other Undaunted sets, before bugs. A nerf is completely unnecessary and irrational assuming all bugs are fixed and the set is brought in line with its tooltip. Any objective person can see this.

But if you conclude that I use Malubeth because I object to a nerf following bug fixes, then you are not objective or rational. I used it in a niche self-heal-tanking build prior to it becoming bugged, and I stopped using it promptly after I learned of them.

And I see him using Surge... You confuse me.
