oh yeah because nords are so good at competitive pvp. Like none of the top players in this game are nords nor argonian. They always choose redguards, high elfs, wood elfs, and orcs. I would love to get wood elf's 21% stamina regen or a reguard's crazy stamina pool. All this races don't matter is bs for certain aspects of the game and that's something new players dont know about. The nord dk doesn't fit my play style. I don't like tanking in pvp. I wanna move. Or maybe a nord is viable... after you get all the good gear lol. Nope. Still no matter how much i work on it, it will never be as good as a redguard dk. Much less an nb or sorc.

How many people made an imperial because of the exclusive imperial edition?
How many people today regret their class passive's end game?
How many people strictly play one character and have most of the achievement's completely?

This is a feature that is convenient for the customer. A feature like this would not effect anyone's experience playing ESO. The ability to change race give's for flexibility on your choice's, "be what you wanna be" mentality.

Re-rolling is not something player's should have to do weather it be for the stat's or cosmetic look's.

Yes you can grind a character to v16 very easily. However your missing out on a lot of achievement's and skill point's doing so. Also there's Undaunted and Alliance War rank's to consider.


Not having this feature is plain silly. Anyone who disagree's is just plain sour. Imagine if you were on an airplane. You were given the choice of two meal's. You ask which meal the flight attendant like's the most. She goes on and on about the chicken.. so you get the chicken. Upon receiving your chicken you realize there are green pea's in the chicken (something the flight attendant did not mention). You hate green pea's. You call over the flight attendant and ask to switch to the pasta. Sure there are people who will frown upon what you just did but it does not mean you cannot do it. You can because you are the customer. The customer is always right. Right?

Exactly why race change should be here as well.

I completely agree and am looking forward to racial changes. I have semi-retired my Breton DK (main character with 250+ skill points) because magicka DKs are terribly non-competitive in PvP (and I have almost no desire for PvE). While I have been dabbling with alts (sorc, templar, NB), I just don't enjoy them nearly as much as DK. I'm not a big fan of stamina DK and would already be disadvantaged with Breton racial bonuses. I'm interested in health regen builds but don't want to be forced to re-roll a different race just to make that sort of build possible.

The lack of race change in upcoming dlc has forced me to:

1. Cancel sub
2. Stop playing
3. Rack my brains as to why ZOS aren't implementing this right now

THE main passive on my main char, and my fave char to play is broken, and has been for some time. Their ineptitude, and frighteningly of all, their lack of giving a *** about the broken passive forced me to make my mind up about changing his race. Now that race change isnt coming til probably DB dlc, and my doubts whether they will actually FIX the carnage passive in the TG dlc are the reasons why i chose to do the above.

Name a game where you can do it. class change doesn't make sense at all in a open skill level system like eso is atm. just reroll a alt it's not that hard lol. and even with the removal of vet it won't take you more then 5 days really to get to level 50 and there are people bragging about they can do it in 2

I don't know if this is consider a game that your talking about but I played this mmorpg game in iPhone and it's called taichi panda and apparently you can change class for small amount of $$$ for a limited time. "But" I think how they did that is because you only have 4 skills to use soo... Most MMO that has more than 4+ skills to use they won't allow a class change..

I believe they said race changes will be part of the barbershop... but even that isn't looking like it'll be out until the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year. Apparently they have '80 other systems' that they're working on which take priority. Strange, I can't imagine them putting things ahead of adding something that would make them a lot of money.

Racial passive are unlocked by level without using experience to rank up or morph. Class based skills are leveled and morphed by experience. Therefore it would be much harder or impossible to symmetrically transfer the progress over to a new class given the skills function completely different. I am sure there are more reasons but that is the glaring one to me. I understand why class change is not happening at least right now.
