I think, since ESO has a mature rating..... lets go for it.
It's hard not to miss the joys of Skyrim like sneaking up behind a necromancer and slitting their throat brutally..... or swinging a sword and seeing your enemy's head sail away.
It would also fit so nicely with the upcoming arrival of the Dark Brotherhood in the game.
What do you think ?

Still, I am pretty certain that it would change PvP to the better - I find it pretty annoying that it does not matter if I would kill someone, because he will be back pretty soon and I would have to face him over and over and over again in the same battle or he me - this is not a battle to me - killed enemies stay killed, they do not fight again and again and again in the same battle - this is what makes me not want to take part in PvP too often, I don't like kiddies, who just run into battle, cause havoc until they get killed - rinse and repeat just the same - I want a kill to matter for at least as long as this battle will be going on - so that I do not have to face the same guy in the same battle again and he not me, if I get killed.
You want a game where people are stuck on the sidelines? Good luck with that. I suppose if you find a large enough market of misanthropes, that could have a chance.
You got me wrong - I want a game where it actually matters what you do - as it is now it does not matter, it is just rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat - to me this is not fun, it does not matter at all if I kill someone or not - he will be back in short, there is no achievement in this - he will just be back like a freaking zombie and do just the same again and again and again. No one has to be cautious and play carefully, because it does not matter if he gets killed, it has no real consequence to it. That is why I do not like this and why PvP is so unappealing to me - someone, which I killed, will not stay dead for more than a loading screen lasts - so where is the whole point of killing someone then, if he will be just right back - I do not get it.
The devs never intended the game to be Mature rated, so they never built in the impossibly large number of physics and animation systems needed to add gore like in Skyrim and they never will.

As someone who grew up on a farm where we butchered our own stock, it just isn't like that. Not to mention, it smells horribly. My background is likely a minority, but that is my vote.
I don't understand how it breaks immersion? Could you explain? Hitting someone with a sword and they fall over with no cuts, nothing to show for is an immersion breaker. I also lived on the farm, and seen the same stuff. I don't think people want to see that. A cut throat, head going flying. That should not have us going through flash backs of our farm life.
...and that'd be how to do it IMO! Those who want it pay extra for seeing more gore, those who don't want to, don't.All of your reasons @lolo_01b16_ESO could be addressed with Brutality Pack DLC (As suggested by me here: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/222351/brutality-pack-concept/p1)
Don't want it? Don't download it.
Country wouldn't allow it? Don't release it in those territories.
Now there can be blood.
