    The guild I am in goes to the sewers and the IC twice a week still, we do farming runs for stones and trophies and the dailies. It can still be fun, in small doses.

    Oh I understand, my frustration is mainly with myself for knowing what I should have done (sigil) and then going ahead and hiking back anyway. Also I had good reason to expect you in particular to be there since Aily said you were thereabouts the previous evening when we were in there.

    I went to the IC a couple of weeks ago. It was fun while I was down there, but it was a real pain in the butt to get there. First I had to be in a campaign, and the same campaign as everyone else in the group. That took about 30 minutes to sort out. Then we went there and one person could not be seen, so we all had to leave again and come back. Another 15 minutes. If one member of the group had not been there to explain the rules of Fizzbin, I mean the process to get everyone in the group in the same place so we could play together, I don't think any of us would have been there. So, 45 minutes after starting the event, we could finally go do something down there. I was in the sewers for less than 5 minutes and I got ganked. Hope they enjoyed the 2 Telvar Stones they got. After that though, we were left alone and all was fun until we go to the Center and that never spawned. Never went above ground so can't comment on that part.

    They want more people in the sewers, then they need to divorce it from the Campaigns for one, and make it easy to at least port to the Entrance area without having to slog all the way across Cyrodiil to get there. Also, I don't think I can join the same campaign as one of my alts so that further complicates going to the IC if I want to bring another character down there. I really don't like joining a campaign in the first place as I never seem to be able to ever drop it.

    As it stands now, it is too much of an administrative bother to go to the IC. I hear they are making changes with the TG DLC, but that is too long away.

    Considering that my guild was the driving force behind at least EP getting access twice in one day. And I was in no way shape or form influenced by your post, it's just something I do.

    Maybe DC was motivated by your post, or maybe it was pure coincidence. But it's not something that will last, the EP group that followed us will clear out the sewers soon until they get bored and AD eventually comes back in peace. And DC tried to lock EP out of the sewers, so that they could farm AD alone but were stopped.

    Don't get me wrong, as fun as it was to farm AD I am actually in agreement with you. But I've seen AD vanish for a week or so, wait for EP to get bored and leave, many times.
    Good, bring the small scale pvp to AoB. We bumped into both AD and EP last night, and had good fights.

    There are only a few EP players in the sewers, nothing small-scale worthy. The one small EP guild I mentioned is also not small-scale worthy, at least compared to the DC that went in.

    There is especially no small-scale PvP coming from AD there, Axe is as close as you can get to farming Auridon PvErs. People who are willing to bargain stones via whisper, in exchange for you leaving them alone to grind for a few hours. AD on Axe aren't interested in PvP in any way shape or form, they will clear out for a while and come back quietly when the dust settles.

    Actually, a decent amount of EP made it into the sewers. They run around in a 4-5 man group and we've had quite a few good fights with them while wandering the sewers. As for AD, there are plenty of AD pvpers who are in there as well; though they may not be there for PvP specifically, they know there are other alliances in there and do fight when a fight is initiated. We've actually had people who have whispered and told us "gf" and stuff like that. For the most part, we kill and move on. I even gave a lowbie grinding soul gems and wished him luck :P

    As for Haderus: I play on Haderus often as well, and it's not small scale. Both EP and AD move in massive groups, so the promotion of small scale there failed.

    The event has been getting reset/monitored by our CS crew every few hours on each of our platforms/regions. If they see that it's in a bad state, they run a few commands and it gets fixed. We have a less human resources intensive fix coming in the next incremental patch however.

    Other changes to IC are going through their design phases now and we'll have more details on those when the time comes. The changes are directed at making districts more meaningful to Imperial City itself and Tel Var stone acquisition rates are being looked into.

    I've been saying this too. One instance with a separate queue. There is no reason to waste a bunch of extra time loading into and running through Cyrodiil (and clogging the campaign queue in high-pop servers) when you just want to get into IC.

    It's also frustrating to see you have 2 bars or pop but somehow can't muster enough defense to defend a keep against a small group. Then you swing over to IC and find tons of your people just grinding out levels. The fact IC's pop reflects on Cyrodiil gives really misleading numbers as to your overall forces and population health.

    There are no gates on any campaigns atm except for AoB. Which has been controlled almost soley since the server went up, by AD. I think the power of that shows in how the other campaigns are in the standings now. AD has first place on 2 or 3? campaigns atm. They have also cycled thru Emps. quite a bit.

    Some of this is the fault of the other factions not doing anything about it. Some of this is a terrible design decision. ALL the campaigns should have been gated when IC was released. But the fact that PvE'ers would be cut off from PvE dungeons, made it the way it is. In other words, it's all one huge steaming pile of fail.

    Exactly, so there would be little point to have the gated function. And since AoB unique rules would go away, would the campaign disappear as well or get a new rule set? Don't know, but maybe a candidate for a champion point free Veteran campaign.

    As it stands IC should just be part of the base game, and no longer a DLC. Theres not enough content in there to justify even a 5$ purchase.

    Why not port everyone using an entrance to the same campaign (Spellbreaker as example) and then directly into the IC?
    If they leave IC they get back to their PvE Areas.

    @ZOS_BrianWheeler I used to like the concept of IC and outer Cyro being population linked. No longer. We will have three bars of EP on at night.. and 20 defenders.. no one cares about the keeps, since they dont do anything inside. The idea behind locking Cyro with keeps was that, if you could not get below ground, you had to take back keeps. Since that is no longer the case, there is absolutely no reason to keep people from running from base to IC and ignoring keep defenses. If you are gonna do a major change, can you look at unlinking the two parts of Cyrodiil population? I mean.. the zone chats are already seperate.

    Oh.. and..now that I think about it.. wouldnt a special wayshrine from base to the base inside IC accomplish this? Join campaign, then wayshrine into IC? That way, you would not have to link IC to PVE.

    While you are at it, can you please consider adding more things to buy with the Tel Var stones? Part of the problem for me is the only thing I buy with them is materials, and since I have most of the gear I want I have less reason to be there.

    For example... V16 Morag Tong, Hawk's Eye, and Shadow Walker gear at any Tel Var price would get me in there immediately.

    Any way you could clear one of the districts of all the mobs and just make it a fighting zone? Its hard to have any organized fights with all of the mobs and rubble in the way.

    If there was just a circular center with nothing in it, the players would come.

    Sounds to me like you are saying that this campaign has something to do with the AD doing well right now...maybe you forget that EP owned axe for a very long time before ad got a hold of it. Nothing in there that would make an advantage for anyone any ways.

    We have discussed making IC an instance which all campaigns flood into, however that requires some heavy back end work to Campaign & server structure with linking the zones associated to Cyrodiil. Simply put, it would take a very long time to get that implemented and live and it's not as easy as it sounds.

    This would mean that when certain "I'm in the 1% streaming with my loyal fanboyz watching" peeps are farming an instance of IC there would be no alternate choice.

    There are enough problems with bullies, you don't need to make it worse.

    And I make a strong distinction between "it's PvP, expect to get fought" and bullying. They are NOT the same.

He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
