4 classes have 3 different types for each.. thats 12 different types lol. People need to start experimenting instead of following youtube videos. def agree with what u are saying, id rather run in a group that has a variety of skills being fired off as opposed to the same, makes it more interesting to be apart of instead of all just the same skill "in stereo"

I currently run a sword and board NB with bow on my back bar. I'm trying to show people you don't need a 2H to be competitive. Especially when i can do 15-20k burst damage. If my target is squishy and not blocking, they die almost instantly and it's quite nice.

I haven't found that everyone's playing a cookie cutter build. I run a ton - stam sorc 2h/bow (special twist), magicka templar, magicka sorc, stam sorc S&B/2h (special special), magicka DK, and a magicka NB saptank. Variety is the spice of life. Sure, there's a lot of generic magicka NB that everything thinks they can do well and they just end up mega squishy. I feel like EP's a lot squishier than DC, but that's just anecdotal.

originally i had 2 toons that used dw & 2h....my stam sorc and my stam nb... ended up switching the nb to dw and bow mainly cause i got bored of doing the same things on 2 different toons ( granted a few skills were different... but wanted more of a difference than i had )

That's my biggest problem with the current meta. Everyone claims that they play different classes but no matter what stamina class people play it's the same thing. Crit charge, WB, executioner. I'm so tired of it. It's not a problem for me as it's easy to counter but it's absolutely boring to fight against.

dont forget steel tornado ... thats what i had on both toons and just got bored of seeing/doing the same thing on both, so i switched weapons

I prefer the "try fun stuff" type of mindset in BWB. Running "meta" stuff isn't enjoyable for me anymore. Fighting WB users isn't that bad anymore after you play one yourself or play against them often and you know how to counter it. However, I still have hopes for DW to make a comeback and not just with steel tornado.

my first toon (my vet 16 breton nb) i originally made using a deltia's build....i must add that eso is my first mmo of any kind so i had no idea what i was doing.... but at this point i have completely changed that toon so it no longer resembles that build cause in all honesty.... in pve the damage SUCKED

Those people vetted out, and are now hooked on the cake grind. Then there will be a few weeks of cake XP rehab. Then maybe a return to blue daycapping.

I'd feel bad but its happened so often from every alliance now that you should probably just get over and move on. If DC had the chance they would have, if AD had the chance they would have.
If you want Emp I'd suggest something other than those two buttons you mentioned previously.

Nah like a small group of friends who are really really good at the game and would do anything to help you get it. Perhaps consider changing alliances

I actually belong to a really good PvP guild.

I've never tried for Emp, one reason is I am always broke and would not have the funding to even compete with the top 10 players on DC.

One week I will try for EMP, "Vamp Emily" is sitting at level 45 waiting for her time to shine; and when I do get it I will be feeding on EP/AD all night long

You don't need any AP to get Emp. Every Emp i've ever had was achieved with 0 wall reps and 100% killing players.

Very happy for ep crowning emp recently. Congrats to them. The map has been rather too blue or too yellow shirt since tg dropped but I like it better when I can flip flop between nikel and Alessia for endless ap ticks. This one has considered remaking an ep toon but I think having 3 toons I play with in Bwb is enough for now.

On the topic of night caps: it's not a big deal in all honesty. Though I can see how it's annoying. My only problem is when the faction that emp zeros down each attempt at other factions trying to get their inner keeps back. For goodness sake please stop. It's actions like those that kill the fun for everyone not running with the emp. I will not pretend that ad hasn't done it because they sure as hell have but I know as a player my favorite battles are the final keep to dethrone that take 45 mins to an hour. I hope I make some sort of sense

This, this, a thousand times this. Go ahead, grab all the scrolls, but then don't hold gatekeeps all day so that the action never really gets rolling. Kills the fun for everyone. And yeah, all factions have been guilty of this, for sure.

We've got a rule in Love Den that we will help push and we will help grab scrolls but we immediately back off to make sure that the other factions can gain their home keeps back. The inner ring is fair game (although once you guys typically have the triangle keeps back, you're fired up for some revenge-pushing and I love it!) We also tend to harass EP members that are still pushing triangle keeps after we own everything. The campaign is only good when everyone is allowed to play and have a good time. It's always discouraging to see gate farming of any faction, when one logs in and sees the map all one color during prime time that it's just not worth it and then they log out.

And I absolutely agree, even if we win or if we lose, the faction v faction at one last resource or one last keep is the most amazing fun! The reintroduction of forward camps has increased the ability to make the fights last longer since it doesn't take us 5 minutes to res, and run back, anymore.
