    It appears as though this is a UI error on the death recap screen. When we tested the ability, only the initial damage from Camo Hunter appears on the death recap even though there's a second proc that hits you (and ends up killing you). The ability is working correct, it's just the display from the recap that is broken. We're working on getting this fixed!

    From sneak with DW heavy attack cancelled by a skill you get Camo Hunter damage from sneak + 2/3 procs (for example: Camo hunter sneak+Camo hunter proc+heavy attack+heavy attack DW+Camo hunter proc+Surprise Attack >> this lands all at the same time; using Silver Shard you can get sometimes an additional Camo hunter proc).

    Doing so with two targets close to each other, if you are enough fast:
    - the first target gets killed in one hit (since all written before lands at the same time)
    - you don't even go out of sneak
    - then you attack the second target with the same combo

    Basically you kill two targets in 2 seconds or so since you stay in sneak and you get the sneak bonus attack on both targets.
    On the second target you get also a damage bonus probably because of Slaughter or Ruffian of DW uncorrectly applying on the second one.

    I tested it both in IC vs mobs and in PvP.
    Sorry but it doesn't seem to work properly as already Wrobel wrote in another topic.

    This need's a fix asap , this should of been fixed age's ago. Why are vampire's getting so shafted in pvp. We already take 9% extra weapon damage from fighter's guild passive's. Not to mention dawnbreaker and extra damage to fire vampire's have to go out of there way and mitigate.

    Vampire's really need some love.

    I was playing my Sorc this weekend....full shields up - 20k - full health 20k

    I got insta rect multiple times by the same 3 or 4 folks this weekend - all Bow builds during keep fights and with one NB pulling some lag/cancelling BS repeatedly on me - one shot me from stealth every time - death screen was that of a typical an animation cancelling/macro player.

    All death screens showed Camo - and yeah I'm a vamp.

    Insta kills shouldn't happen in pvp - and Vamp is nowhere near strong enough these days to warrant 1 or 2 shot = dead.

    Seems like a death recap bug. I can kill people that fast with a heavy attack (dw) when Camo Hunter procs out of stealth if I'm lucky. It procs often on undead and sometimes on normal targets.

    What target?! People do these 1-shots from stealth... there is no "hurry and kill target".. it's 1 second you're alive, the next one you're dead.

    It's bad PvP imho.. and doesn't belong in games like these.. I'd be ok if there was a slim chance to get a lucky proc that insta gibs somebody.. but as it currently is, 9/10 times you instagib a vamp with this camo double proc crap.

    That style belongs to UT InstaGib mods...


    People like to defend the mechanic by stating being a vamp should have downsides.. but then forget the reduced health regen, the 9% more weapon dmg people do to you (fighter guild passive), the knockdown on silver shards, the pull on silver leash, the proc from either hunter morphs (when it's working as intended), the extra fire damage.... so on top of that, you guys seem to think being 1-shot 9 out of 10 times is somehow the proper downside to being a vamp.

    Then again, Camo is not the issue, broken SNEAK MECHANICs are the issue, when will ppl get that in their head.

    Isn't camo actually broken with DW though? Or if you do 2 attacks at the same time? Since dual wield hits twice, naturally, camo procs twice, same for doing 2 attacks extremely fast. Other than that, yeah you're completely right.

    How can this be "indented" lol? Where did Battle Spirit go? Camouflage Hunter proc's doing more dmg than skills and ultimates.

    Imagine if my templar Burning Light proc's, did 19k dmg in less than 1 second...

    This is one of the worse game designs I ever seen in any MMORPG. If working as indented, should at least be subject to change. Especially since they're selling WW/vamp for 1.5k crowns and this is the unavoidable outcome as soon as the poor newbie enters PvP.

    the skill itself morphed or not has been one of the buggiest things in the game, if anything they need to completely rework it. multiple times has it needed to be fixed in several ways.

    It's an awful, poorly thought out ability but just know, if you are lucky enough to not die and you then drop a detect pot, you will absolutely ruin that gankers day because it is almost 100% likely that he has no skill or ability to counter a fair 1v1 situation.

    Assuming that every player using a high weapon damage build with camo hunter on a bar is terrible, and using that as an excuse for why the ability doesn't need any adjustments is silly. There are plenty of good players who run high weapon damage builds. Camo hunter is perfect for min/maxing burst damage on stamina builds. It procs off caltrops, light/heavy attacks, abilities, and bash. It gives 10% crit chance. It makes vamps an easy 1-shot from stealth. Even against non-vamps the 4% chance is useful to occasionally lay down some extra unexpected burst.

    Thanks for clarifying. @ZOS_GinaBruno Can you explain the reasoning behind a skill as powerful as this not having a cooldown? There are many things in game that have a cooldown to prevent them from being too powerful (flame lash exploit, skoria, etc.). It seems like putting a ~2-3 second cooldown on this skill would balance it while leaving it still extremely powerful.

    1. You've been posting tons of videos where you try to oneshot as many people as you can
    2. Oneshotting from stealth isn't necessarily done with projectiles so that DK advice should be "flap your wings 24/7 and block 24/7 and if you don't then L2P"

    Please explain to me how being able to oneshot people is healthy in a PvP environement

    Glass canon builds shouldn't be about oneshotting, but something closer to killing someone in 6-7 seconds.

    While you are at it, could you please also fix the broken duration refresh of camo hunter? This is more or less an exploit because the player does not have to recast camo hunter anymore once he killed an undead and it has been around since at least 6 month.

    1. Really? Maybe in PVE universes.. WHY DOES THIS EVEN POP UP IN CYRODIIL/IC?
    2. Good idea. IF THE PLAYER WAS ATTACKING WHEN HE DIED, instead of being one-shot from stealth.
    3. Dont see any control effects to break.. and if you get ONE-SHOT, YOU CAN NOT BLOCK, DODGE, ROLL, OR INTERRUPT..You just fall over dead.

    Uhh... that was fixed quite a while ago. Maybe in IC patch. It now only refreshes the duration, it doesn't add extra duration like it did before.

    Please look into batswarm also then its doin something it's not suppose to be doing 3 people took out 15 people the other day in the sewers when they all spammed batswarm this isn't suppose to happen

    If all 15 people just stand around in it for 5 seconds they all deserve to die. There are plenty of ways to reduce or avoid the damage, or move out of range of the bats. There is no "spamming" bats - it costs ~158 ultimate (little less as Sorc) at stage 4 vampirism, and requires gaining that much ultimate to use it again.

    We was at a portal fighting and they came out of stealth nightblades and attacked us they took us all out either way you look at it batswarm shouldn't have been able to do this and no we didn't all just stand there

    I am sure they had proxy det up as well, were fully buffed, and weaved in a couple other attacks. Unfortunately, it is supposed to happen. It's not hard to take down a tightly clustered group if they are caught off guard. It has happened to me on more occasions than I care to admit, and I have done it to others. Probably worth spreading out a little bit and anticipating this (especially if you already saw enemy NBs creeping around). Also, when I am running a farming group into the sewers, I always ask what ultimates team mates are running and make them call it out if they use it (so we automatically assume if we hear a meteor or end up in a bat swarm that it is enemy and we need to roll out quick) and we save ultimates for PvP encounters (they are not needed for PvE in the sewers and everyone having an ultimate ready can quickly put an end to gankers).
