Bogdan Undaunted set - Buff Proposal

So this set is designed for healers. The 2pc has a chance to drop a totem that heals when you heal or something(Don't remember 100% on how it procs)

However, the totem is stationary. For PvE, a lot of boss fights don't require movement, so it's not that big of a deal. In PvP, staying in one place will probably get you killed. So, it's not very useful in Cyrodiil

The main thing that bothers me is that the 1PC bonus gives maximum health. Besides Molag Kena, Bloodspawn, Engine Guardian, and the Lord Warden's 1PC bonuses, everything gives health as a 1PC bonus.

So...that leads me to my suggestion

Make the 1PC give magicka regen.

Currently, there is no 1PC bonus that provides magicka regen(In the undaunted sets). There is one that provides stamina regen(Bloodspawn). Not only that, but making the majority of the 1PC undaunted sets health doesn't make any sense.

Bogdan is designed for healers. What helps healers? Magicka regen
Molag Kena was designed for damage. What helps damage? More damage
Bloodspawn was designed for tankines(2PC at least). Well...what helps tanking? Stamina regen to block, dodge, cc break, etc.
Lich and Valkyn sets were also designed for DPS. Unfortunately, they give health as 1pc bonuses.

Bogdan is my main concern because it's probably the least popular undaunted set alongside the Daedroth one. The 1PC and 2PC bonuses for undaunted sets should synergize with each other. Bloodspawn and Molag Kena are perfect examples

you are wrong, stamina regen for tank is nearly useless due to no regen when block and as tank you must block alot. And for healers mana regen is not important as you think much beter is spel dmg. And bogdan set for healer is just crap bc here is only ilittle chance to drop this totem which is crap, you rlky dont want relly on some random heling thing if you can get some pernament bonus as molag kena spell dmg.

    He's more right than wrong.

Spell damage on a healer is nice, but regen is necessary. If I wanted 1 piece spell damage, I'd wear Molag Kena.
Stamina regenration may not be as useful per say for tanks now-a-days in PvE, but that 1 piece set bonus for bloodspawn is very nice for PvP players.

Bogdan is bad and has been lackluster ever since it was introduced into the game.

They just need to buff the proc chance and the area that the totem covers - right now it's pathetic in that it spawns near the healer over in nowhere land healing from range...

I gotta disagree with you. A tank needs stamina regen, and lots of it. They depends on gaining stamina even harder because of the no regen when block, tank without stamina is a dead tank and we don't need that kind of tanks.

Well mana regen for a healer is pretty useful, even though with low regen a healer can do it, a healer must always make sure his/her mana is up all the time, for critical times that he/she can interfere with major heals. A healer without mana gives a dead group and we don't need that kind of groups.

The set, even though not the best option, actually is pretty decent. Mostly depends on the kind of build you have, if you have a lot of HoTs then it can actually proc a few times. Honestly I wouldn't choose this either how it is now, but if they were to change the 1pc in magicka regen, then I actually think it's a much more viable healing set. I think that might be a good addition to this set.

Thats a nice Idea, sounds Logical. They should raise the Area of Affect and the Percentage too. At the Moment the most People use the Dwemer / Nerieth / Molag Kena set. The other Sets should be more interesting. Zos should improve them but please dont lower the good Sets instead of this ;) .

Stam builds get Stam regen and weapon damage via Bloodspawn and Molag Kena. Don't see why Magicka builds can't get the same deal with Molag Kena and say Bogdan or Warden, both are useless atm.

Yeah agreed with those of you who said buff the 2PC as well. It's not strong enough.

@WillhelmBlack Yep. Remember when Molag Kena was ONLY going to give weapon damage... xD

@Swen_von_Walhallion Just like @Skiserony stated, stamina regen is essential for a tank.

I haven't tanked in PvE - however to my understanding, it's important for a tank to have stamina(Maybe I'm wrong and the best of the best PvE tanks run 500 stamina regen)

For PvP, I can say with 110% confidence that stamina regen is extremely important for anyone and everyone to have stamina sustain - whether it's tanks or DPS or Healers.

No way I could heal through challenging content without decent regen.

I run about 1700 regen when healing vet pledges, ran city of ash the other day, there's so much aoe going on at times I'm spamming BoL just to keep the group alive (especially last stage on final boss when your all in melee range)

Not to mention as a healer i have to
Keep blazing spears up for dd and tank
Keep purifying ritual up to increase heal effeciency and another buff for other players
Keep purifying light up to add dps
Weave dark flares for any dps check boss fights

Cutting regen in half would be suicide, sure you could just about scratch through it, but you wouldn't be able to keep up the other utility going as well

I think Bogdan is one of the sets that very few people run due to better itemization of other sets. I would love to see this kind of change because it would open up new possibilities. I even think making the 2 piece better would be good too.

If you don't run with pugs and run with a dedicated group you don't need 1700 regen. My healer runs with ~769 at v16. I don't complain. He makes up for it by adding damage and buffing up the dps so things die faster, therefore he needs to heal less. It also helps when the dps and tank don't stand in red.

I'm sure that healers CAN do fine with low regen. However, there is already a set for spell damage 1PC(Molag Kena). Giving Bogdan magicka regen is way more logical then the health bonus that it currently has

Regen isn't really necessary for myself, I'd rather the damage personally, but that's only because I use the Eyes of Mara set. I could definitely see regen being the one size fits all trait.

I thought I was the only one who used that set lol, It's what I'm known for in Cyrodiil!

the optimist in me likes the idea

the pesimist in me puts his money on: New monster set will get things like Magicka Regen and old sets will stay old and uninspiring.

I also expect they will introduce more vet dungeons and monster sets hence why the vendor selling monster sets is a good idea, more monster sets you add the worse the RNG on gold keys due to expanded loot tables.

I dueled a templar once running that set. The duel lasted for around a minute and the set proc'd three times. He was healing a ton, granted, but it seems to proc more than just 2% of the time. The lack of mobility with it is a major inconvenience though.

I like the regen idea solely because my willpower jewelry is all regen enchanted, I'd like to stack more spell damage while keeping up sustain.
