sigh this is why the game is terrible... hey we can bring 3 raids grps and zerg you to your gates....why don't you just transfer to AD since they have the same mentality. This thought process just escapes me...how is this something to brag about?

Just to clarify two points. (1) DiG NEVER gate camps anyone and any members caught doing so are no longer members, that is just wussy PvP game play. (2) Until some red/blue guilds bother to coordinate with us for some small scale we will continue to run in whatever way accommodates our membership. But it seems that our average two raid a night runs is preventing some from having fun and if others work with us we'd be happy to help everyone on Haderus have fun. I love how I offer to work with ppl and get threats " You don't want the wedding dress of glory coming to visit you with 3+ full raids".

it doesn't matter who agree's to what the moment you can't win in a ratio of 1 to 1 you will bring a ratio of 2 to 1 then 3 to 1 until you get the desired effect... this has been seen time and time again.

We don't need deals to PvP in respectful way...as you can see in some previous post AD seems to think if they lose a fight and have 8 member and the other grp has 12 they have the right to zerg the map to the gates apparently....so be it

I'm not aiming at DiG but AD in general on Had. by no means am I suggesting DiG has or are doing this.

If you happen to notice EP has emp and AD and DC still have thier3 pie keeps....and its always like this unless AD gets emp.

I am a leader of a smaller Haderus PvP guild for AD, all I see here is everyone complaining about something everyone does. Zergs are in this game, I zerg sometimes, EP zergs sometimes, DC zergs sometime. It just needs to be said that every faction does it. Single players may not want to admit to it and some don't go in a zerg ever, but it happens. PvP is PvP, people use marcos, people have unfair hacks, people have more players. This is a game, play it or don't.

I think you make some good points about people losing 1 to 1 and escalating to win. I do think however if some big presence guilds from the factions get together to coordinate a small scale nights then there will be enough of it on the board to where the pugs won't matter. Or at the very least say hey we're going to being hanging out on this part of the map, travel up with your 6-8 and lets fight it out, I think that could be fun.

As for the yellows, I know that if DiG emps again, which the next yellow in line is a dig member, we will not push red/blue off the map and leave those deep homefront keeps alone. There is a rabid pug presence on the map atm, so I can't speak for them.

In any event, I am just trying to help others have fun and hopefully something can be worked out to that end. I have made agreements with red groups in the past and always keep my word, so please know that if we set up some small scale PvP we will not go back on it just because we lose. If we can't fight the best, then we can never get better and sometimes that means getting beat for the whole night until you learn.

TBH I've never seen a "hack" or "macro" in this game (aside from maybe one or two potential speed hacks early on around launch), and everything phishy can usually be explained. Some people don't ever get that though, some terms and fake jargon people throw around as a bluff are quite funny too.

The beauty of such an open combat system, is you don't need the benefits a macro would offer in other games with skill queues and cooldowns etc. About the worst you find in this game are occasional bugged or questionably too strong mechanics (Axe bleed, penetration, Nirn etc) that quickly become FoTM for many people.

I'm not out here to make myself seem better or anyone for that matter. I know 4 AD players who use macros and 2 EP players, hacking, I know one EP player who had hacked but has been removed from the game. I know of one DC exploiter and of one AD exploiter. Now I say hacking and exploiting would be different in this game. Most of them have been dealt with or the issue itself has been resolved, but my point is; there are people who do it.

Salty much? Judging from your post you got a rough ride... so you run to the forums and cry? Being a streamer and someone who made a name for themselves i expected a little more out of you than a ranting child like post on the forums. You post 1vX videos all the time and its never a problem until you run into players you can't 1vX. You think the world stops because @FENGRUSH shows up and everyone is supposed to fall for his sorc tactics and string out so you can pick them off one by one for the sake of your stream or 1vX vid? I've had a few salty tells from you too whenever you're roaming solo or small group and get hunted down by much larger numbers.

Theres alot of words being said but noone has changed up their actions. Everyone seems to support the idea of small scale on Haderus, yet most people on all factions still running those large groups supposedly to counter some other large group. Condemning the AD groups, or any other, for breaking some agreement to small scale before they ever responded here is ridiculous. Its going to do nothing but further cement the hatred between factions.

Maybe there needed to be more time and warning for something like this to be set up, but the current measures being taken for 'balance' are disgusting. Wednesday EP had emperor, Roe and Ash were yellow, blue has aleswell and we were battling it out in Ash. It was not a huge seige, there was not a huge defence and there were plenty of small skirmishes in between. Just as the inner wall is about to go down an almost full raid of GoS or CKA came charging through, cleared out the blues sieging and made quick work of the ungrouped AD inside.

EP continued to train through the last of the inner ring until everything was red again. No problem I thought, its just a new larger group to fight now. Except as soon as they had the inner ring capped again the entire EP raid just got up and left campaign to go back wherever they came from, so quickly that a scroll was just dumped in the field. Not one single EP stayed. AD were pushed back to faregyl, DC to glademist and now the only 2 factions still online would have to PvDoor through ash and roe again to find any action. Like myself, most of the yellow online quit after that and it seems DC did too as nothing was lighting up. The potatoes that think this is what balanced means are just as bad as the AD pugs that push to gates, or any of the other trash faction zergs that have been here in the past.

I've not been back other then for the odd dolmen farming session, and I don't really want to. There was more small group action to be had before this *** started

As for your comments on the ASH thing there was like 12 of us and we had emp and were defending the ring keeps.... VERY far from taking gate keeps with no scrolls or scroll behind those gates then gate camping the ppl behind it... Ring keeps are always fair game. AD seems to think if they get outnumbered once in a blue moon on an inner keep it justifies the gate camping they do. When you come back with some EP gate camping when you have no scroll stories let me know... until then cool story bro. you never hear us complain of AD zerging the inner ring...only the gate keeps its like AD is delusional 24/7

No this has nothing to do with what AD thinks, because most of AD wasn't online. The so called referees and saviors of Haderus aren't doing anything but ruining any existing small scale. Like I said before the training through keeps with larger numbers wasn't even the issue, its that you pull these numbers to just take the keeps and then LEAVE the campaign. When DC is pushed to glademist, AD pushed to faregyl and EP just non existant except to roflstomp keeps back every hour, then no one feels like pvDooring a string of keeps just to get to the fights, only to be pushed back an hour later. Its the exact same **** that EP and DC complain about every day, sure its not back to the scroll keeps but its the same principle: once you go past this point you will be zerged back.

What the hell do you think revenge is going to do for this campaign? Grabbing a large group and ruining the action for the late night small groups doesn't do anything but make them want to quit, meanwhile the AD zerg that you so hate isn't even around to be 'taught a lesson'. I've stuck around with haderus for a while, and there have been plenty of times where we get pushed to scroll gates and attempted to be farmed there by both EP and DC groups that have moved. A comment on the population is hardly a rage tell fyi and we leave the campaign after taking inner keeps because we do not want to gate camp. you yourself has just stated AD does it a lot more than any other faction on this campaign. Maybe you should blame the AD zerg for quitting everytime some competition shows up on the map and they lose 1 keep, leaving the small guilds helpless. Which is why we stop after taking the inner... we are not here to demoralize the AD players. But taking exception to us flipping the inner rings back when we have emp is well... kinda ridiculous in my opinion. It is your faction that has to take the blame on this one whether you see it or not.

The gate camping isn't the issue. It's the massive numbers that romp across the emp keeps and discourage the other factions that are the problem. From what I've heard from AD and EP players recently, it's primarily DIG and GoS that field the large groups on Haderus. It's not competitive, it's annoying, it's skilless, and it makes the entire campaign a toxic back and forth of unobstructed emp pushes and night caps with no room for real fights.

Well again the only thing DiG can do is offer up some nights when we run much much smaller, but we have 1k active members so there are time when we will be large, its the nature of things. But ppl are always welcome to talk to me in game on any night and something can be worked out I'm sure. Hopefully we can reach a balance that allows most to have fun.

From what I've heard from AD and EP players recently, it's primarily DIG and GoS that field the large groups on Haderus. It's not competitive, it's annoying, it's skilless, and it makes the entire campaign a toxic back and forth of unobstructed emp pushes and night caps with no room for real fights.

The gate camping isn't the issue? When AD comes with 3 times EP's numbers and gate camps them as was the case before GoS came here ..... that is the issue... now that there is even population and EP can push back that is an issue? GoS runs groups from 12-18 ppl and its very rarely ever more than that. 12-18 ppl is far from massive number when AD is running 2 raid groups. most guilds including K-hole run 12-18 so I don't see your issue with GoS here.

The issue is when you still bring the 12-18 people to the small scale fights that everyones been asking for and then come to the forums to tell us how bad your day was being zerged, and that clearly its our fault that we didn't bring more numbers. Thats some khaz khan level logic there
Whether your pushing to scroll gates or just showing up to roflstomp back through the inner 6 before leaving for azuras again, if your training through smaller groups regardless of faction then you are part of the problem here

I can guarantee you and the former empress would never leave AS for fear that someone else might get more AP. You are pretty much locked into AS and everyone knows it.

The fight you reffered to was 8v12 how freaking picky on number can you get?

Stop trying to argue for the sake of arguing. And stop acting like im blaming you because im not. Its no secret as you have stated that AD as a whole zergs the maps to the gates more often than anyone.

Im not coming to the forums complaining as you can read in my previous post i dont give a *** what AD does...what im stating is that don't come crying that you want small scale PvP then zerg EP to the gates and expect that it won't be done to you....meaning AD not you in particular since you seem to think you ARE AD. That being said we still are not gate camping AD

Generally speaking, it is always my motivation to promote as much scale of PvP as is possible. Small, medium, large, i like to avoid zerg levels if at all possible.

Small = 1-6
Medium = 6-12
Large = 13-24
Zerg = Multiple raids, but i personally dont consider it a zerg until around 30+

Unfortunately for Haderus currently, AD only has two modes (small and zerg), and GoS fits a niche somewhere between medium and large. What happens then, is either we are horribly outnumbered vs a 50 man DiG/DuG raid night, which we can handle if we roll 20 plus maybe another guild helping with another 12 or so, or we end up chasing you and weedwizardd around while you gank zaz on his siege (lol)

Right now at the tail end of US prime time (just about midnight) GoS is running 10, with emp, and peaked at 22 when DiG was out in massive force. Now that it seems DiG has retired for the night, theres another small EP guild, I think Khole still rolling around for DC, and very very few AD that are coordinated.

I told our group to stand down for now, only defend, fight some skirmishes, etc. For the most part, we are usually defending emp keeps and the like, fair game. We left ash blue and roe yellow, there might be a cap up overnight if people are bored or if duchess wants to sleep a bit and feel secure, but i dont mind there being AD/DC on the ring if ya all are fighting over there. I have no personal interest in hitting either keep.

That being said, once i see pops drop i usually drop crown to someone else, and sit on standby in case it flares up hard again. Most of the time, we could field 20 at a moments notice, but we really do try to stay sub-10 when its slow like this.

And youre right, i detest gate camping on principle, it has always sickened me. However, one thing I have learned in the past is some members of AD will never let go of the past with Thornblade, and take out their aggression for things the EP on haderus never did, and just wipe everything out and camp us out of the map.

When that happens, *** for tat is the proper response as its what they understand. Unless you yourself are part of the gate camping, its obvious not you we seek to "punish" for wrecking PvP for a whole evening.

Just to clarify two points. (1) DiG NEVER gate camps anyone and any members caught doing so are no longer members, that is just wussy PvP game play. (2) Until some red/blue guilds bother to coordinate with us for some small scale we will continue to run in whatever way accommodates our membership. But it seems that our average two raid a night runs is preventing some from having fun and if others work with us we'd be happy to help everyone on Haderus have fun. We already made a decision in the middle of summer to be on Haderus and when the issue came up again last month the vote was to stay, we like it there. This is not going to change in for foreseeable future but Friday's are the only night that we bring 50+ to the map. Tonight it did not seem to be an issue, there were some good back forth battles with the reds that were on the server and some interesting 3 ways over some emp keeps.

This would make to much sense.

To be honest, Axe of Belharza is completely dead. The Emperor is bored over there and wouldn't mind it becoming more active. No zergs roam there at all, might be the best place for small scale pvp fights.

I didn't realize they were doing so, but honestly in the end we will just adjust to what changes they make to siege, aoe caps, or anything else. I am not sure why I thought if I engaged this thread that maybe something could be worked out, it is plainly obvious that many posting here have a specific idea about what PvP should be and if its not that then its not right. We won some fights last night and lost a some as well, we are not some all mighty force -- even when running several raids. More importantly we are not trying to be. While we have some upper level PvPer's, we also cater to the casual PvPer and everything inbetween. So win or lose its all about our membership having fun and 99% of the time we do. While I will wait with baited breath for someone to reach out to coordinate some nights of small scale fun, I am not going to lose sleep about it if no one does or if those seeking it move to another server. I am also not going to worry about those that just want to hate for the sake of hating, as it is clear nothing will be good enough. With that I hope for as long as we continue to clash that we learn from the tactics used against us and have fun. Best of luck out there!
