Needs an option for "all of these are awful please no."
Yeah, all fresh vr1s will be very happy when they will enter vet CoA, ICP or WGT as tehir first dungeon ever. Or when they will try vet pvp and will be demolished.Premium Starter Pack: Level 50 character with unique mount, pack of grand soul gems, pack of level 50 tristat potions, pack of level 50 tristat food: 8K crowns
I hate collecting skyshards and lorebooks on alts, but I hate this option even more.Shard Seeking Scroll: Instantly collect all undiscovered skyshards in your current zone (one scroll per zone): 1.5K crowns
Its already in game. Just go to any Cyro delve that is not used for grinding and kill the boss. 20% ap boost for 1 hour.Scroll of AP boosting (30% more AP gained for two hours): 600 crowns
I personally think that fishing system needs rework.Lucky Fishing Pole: Increases odds of catching rare fish by 20%, lasts one hour: 300 crowns
This might be a nice idea... But only if these mercenaries would be available for ingame gold, not for crowns.NPC Hireling: Hire a fighter or mage to accompany you for 2 hours (doesn't work in instanced group content or PvP areas): 200 crowns

This poll is for people who *want* such items. I am not a fan of them, and would say "no" to all of them, but other players (and perhaps ZOS) disagree. I am curious what players who are willing to buy faster progression see as desirable/undesirable, acceptable/unacceptable, etc.
Unless you are wanting an alt after already leveling to level 50. New players can buy it too, if they want. I added this because I've seen people asking for it on the forums.KoshkaMurka wrote: »Yeah, all fresh vr1s will be very happy when they will enter vet CoA, ICP or WGT as tehir first dungeon ever. As I've said a couple of times, I would reject all of these, but, some people may be happy to pay for this. If so they can indicate their support. Again, I can see people making alts liking this.KoshkaMurka wrote: »I hate collecting skyshards and lorebooks on alts, but I hate this option even more.Shard Seeking Scroll: Instantly collect all undiscovered skyshards in your current zone (one scroll per zone): 1.5K crowns
Skipping content is stupid. Not to mention that a person who tries to skip everything even on their 1st char will be disappointed when he/she tries vr16 content. I saw enough people who just grinded a char and dont have any idea how to play it.
Yup, but XP gains from Rings of Mara, ESO Plus Membership, and XP scrolls stack, so this could too. PvE players who want to rank up in the Alliance War enough to unlock a few skills might be tempted by this.KoshkaMurka wrote: »Its already in game. Existing convenience items might be seen as unfair in a similar way, but I don't see anything being pulled for that reason.KoshkaMurka wrote: »I personally think that fishing system needs rework.Lucky Fishing Pole: Increases odds of catching rare fish by 20%, lasts one hour: 300 crowns
But this will be really unfair for those who have Master angler achievement already.
I am betting this will be the most popular item in the poll.KoshkaMurka wrote: »This might be a nice idea... Just because the poll isn't intended for you doesn't make it biased. People can always start a poll asking something like "Would you stay in the game if they offered items such as X, Y, Z" if they like. This is for those who want more "convenience".KoshkaMurka wrote: »tinythinker wrote: »KoshkaMurka wrote: »The poll is biased. That's why I said that the poll is biased.
And there's always people who would like to buy "I win" button.
But catering to these will kill the game and make many people leave.

At the risk of being a broken record, I reject all of this. Check out my comments on the post about how they added "insta-werewolf" and "insta-vamp" to the Crown Store. I welcome people to rail against such convenience in these comments, but the poll itself was made for fans of catch-up items.KoshkaMurka wrote: »tinythinker wrote: »Just because the poll isn't intended for you doesn't make it biased. There's many people on these forums who are against p2w. Many of us know how this "catch-up" stuff can ruin a game.
And any poll should include an alternative option.

I mean, there are people who probably have spent a lot of money on experience scrolls. They've probably leveled up faster than their RL skill and they are now in over their heads. However, if you ever ran unto such a player in PVP, you'd probably waste them and keep moving, not even giving a second thought as to how they leveled their character. Likely, the same would happen for purchasing a pre-leveled character. On the flip-side, if someone bought a pre-leveled character and totally rekt you you probably wouldn't know the difference there either.
I'm meh on the idea across the board. It doesn't affect my immersion and it might make some money to keep the lights on.

Well, vet ranks removal is supposed to solve this problem.
I actually think that more stuff should be account-wide (or just made easier to get on 2nd,3rd etc char). But adding it to cash shop is a really controversial idea, and Zos would step on a very slippery slope if they listen to the people who want to pay for progression.

I totally agree. I actually edited after you responded - I feel like this is similar to the elements that people want bound to accounts. Why shouldn't those people grind it out on their 5th character? Someone else already did. So, we'll always have this argument of people doing things the "right way" and the paid way. It's a slippery slope for sure, and I think it bugs people most in the PVP realm. However, I think RL skill will prevail in that instance.
Speaking of fishing, something that isn't really progression purchasing/catch-up for cash but still a convenience would be a bait pack: 200 crawlers, 200 insect parts, 200 guts, 200 worms for 100 crownsBabeestorGor wrote: »I wouldn't mind the Lucky Fishing Pole. It doesn't add to the chance of catching Perfect Roe which would be more gamebreaking than allowing a player to get an achievement and dye quicker. They'd still have to go to all those different zones including Cyrodil to catch the fish.
