Vr player with low level group

Hey I can't seem to find an answer for this and I'm not at home to check for myself atm..

Basically I have 3 new friends that just got into the game (thanks black Friday sale!) and I want to do dungeons with them. My main is well into VR and they are barely reaching lvl 15.

Does the new revamped group finder work if you are a premade? Ie. Will it battle level them and reward them appropriately? If not a premade, what if 3 of us were in a group then used the new tool to find a 4th? Would it work then?

alternatively, if we simply form a 4 man group and manually go to a dungeon and I give one of them leader, will I just steam roll it? Or will it scale me down (not even sure that is a thing in this game)

burning through with them on your vet i think however will cut their exp gains. probably easiest to re-roll with them so they wont get scaled and struggle to complete end-game (as their gear/skills are limited so wont battle level as much)

Yes. Preferably, you want to have everybody in the group except the Tank. Then you and the tank queue for the same dungeon at the same time. I've done this with guildies who are underleveled (though VR in most cases) and 95% of the time, the right person pops into the group.

It's also a great way to get people to bring their healer from another faction, for example.

No a premade group of 4 doesn't work but 3 or less should work but understand that you all will be in a VR16 dungeon scaled up based on gear and stats so I'd prob suggest allowing them to hit level 15 since they are brand new to the game and would have all white and green gear vs. all purples and evel 50 skills at rank IV.

If you form the group manually, your friends will either die (if you have lead) or you'll steam roll (of your friends have lead).
When you use the group finder, your friends will be scaled so it'll be possible for them to do a v16 dungeon if they have ok gear and learned the basic game mechanics. It should be enough if your friends start a group and you join them via group finder to get the scaling work.

Yes, you can just burn through it for them if that's what they want.

Here's a trick that works well:

1) Form the a group of 3 normally.

2) Start a group finder search.

3) Immediately after initiating the search, invite the 4th.

The group will be flagged as a group finder group, and your friends will be scaled up to VR15 (with lots of bonus stats to make up for the fact that they're low level), and the dungeon itself will be VR16. Everyone will get full xp for kills in the dungeon.
