Im not a shieldbreaker scrub, you offensive prick!
I was just hoping someone else would deal with the shieldbreakers and anjoy the fairer fights I'd get. Judging from the outcome I guess it was good I did something else with my time. ^^

That would be extremely intereting.
And it would be great for Templars too. I think they make insanely (if not THE most) useful group class, but sadly they do suck a bit in 1v1 as a trade off. So big props to the ones that stepped up to fight.

Not so sure about that, it's to small scale. How long you think a magicka templar can survive being focused by multiple stamina players 3v3? Like we all know everyone will focus the templar, because it heals. But lacking defences against physical and mele burst, since nerfed, removed or never existed. The templar will be taken out the second or third focus attempt.
Magicka builds cant really kill templars easily, it's a nightmare for them. But my bet is that most teams will be Shield Breaker mofos and Wrecking Blow turds, all swimming in Vigor puffs. So have fun trying to outheal their entire focused burst in your face as a templar.
Think you're better of using 3 players with self sustain, burst and mobility to kite and avoid dmg when focused.

Just to avoid things like 3 magicka templars spamming BoL, or 3 Sorcs camping inside 15 mines, or 3 NBs completely disengaging every few seconds etc etc. You know, to make things more dynamic and interesting.
So you can only have 2 of a class and that only if they are different builds (magicka-stamina). How does that sound?

That's not true a good templar can easily survive 3 stamina players, sb, heavy armour seducer and you're good to go. That being said for 3v3 I would pick a magicka sorc off heal over a templar heal/tank, because the sorc can deal a lot of damages and heal quickly when needed (no cast time/channel skills)
Anyway I've heard shieldbreaker will be banned for the next duel tournament, this hopefully extends to the 3v3 tournament.

Full team of fotm class and thats how it will ends. Guess how shorter it would be without using LoS
TBH, as soon as the enemy sorc has a templar at his side shield breaker is useless. What I don't get is, how does templar has a channel heal? BOL is instant cast afaik.
I'm not sure what to think of Maulkin's suggestion, because on the one hand it would allow for more options when having several players of the same class in one team, on the other side it could also get boring.

Templar btw really has a channeled heal but its mostly like nobody ever uses or used it since its ***.

If we get a 3v3 tournament going I'd love it if we could do it in some village, or anywhere that is not completely open field. Using LoS in duels is cheezy, but in 3v3 I see it as a part of the strategy. Could be our own version or arenas.

I don't think using LOS is cheesy in a 3v3 but the main problem with it is that the audience get the same treatment. So you'd have to run around town trying to get a glimpse of combat. The judges too.
The other effect is longer fights as LOS is effectively temporary immunity to damage.
Not sure what the best solution to that is tbh.

I meant templar has only channel/cast offensive skills, so if you want to heal quick you have to interrupt your cast which kinda sucks. Sorc on the other hand has instant cast skills and strong burst rotation.
