Curious if you guys are banning specific abilities/armor sets from the tournament.
Not telling you guys how to run your tournament but a list of things that I'm considering to take out of NA legend tournaments:
- Shield Breaker (5 Piece Bonus)
- Phoenix Set (5 Piece Bonus)
- Reverberating Bash (And any of its morphs, very buggy CC mechanics involved with this ability)
- Reactive Armor 5 Piece Bonus (Two Players running this set and you're asking for a stale mate) 90% of the time.

So we finally get something that is half decent for tanks in PvP and you would ban it? Come on dude. They are still giving up a lot to prevent you from bursting them down when CCed.
Shield breaker is fine as long as the enemy doesn't use Harness Magicka, a skill useless in a fight against Stamina builds anyway (If it weren't bugged). Don't think that the only counter to shields should be taken out.
Otherwise Harness Magicka should be banned since it's buggy since beta, granting Magicka on all incoming dmg sources as long as combined with an another shield.

Since dmg after CC is about the only option to kill someone in a duel setting edit: not permitting use of that set in a dueling setting makes kind of sense.
There is no room for the "tank role" in duels anyway as unlimited resources pretty much guarantee a stalemate against such builds so outlasting an opponent is not an option.
@Jura23 thing is decent damage will not be enough to take down a competent player nowadays. Its burst or bust.

I have no problem with the above sets in an open setting. It's only in the dueling setting that it starts to cause issues, and quite simply makes the dueling scene not as competitive/fun as it used to be.
Like I said, those are just my opinions and haven't been implemented on NA (except for reverberating bash, which we just simply don't allow in tournaments). It's up to the Arena officers and coordinators to allow/forbid things. I was merely making suggestions.

You allow wrecking blow but not reverb bash? The cc issue is very similar. Fear cc is also an issue. Where do you draw the line?
Just curious.

It all depends on the consistency of a bugged CC per fight.
I've fought plenty of wb and fear spammers and rarely experience fatal cc issues. But when it comes to reverberating bash, just about EVERY fight where an opponent is using this ability results in undesirable cc issues (delayed CC break, sliding on the floor, chain CC, unbreakable cc).

Interesting, for me its the opposite. I never have issues with reverb or power bash but I consistently have it against WB and get repeatedly thrown into the air cause immunity not triggering in time.
So personal preference is the deciding factor?
16:00 gmt.. Isn't it so early? Considering you should be there at least 30 mins before the fights begin, it will still be day in west i guess. Would be better to make it after tea time
If you remember last time, it took quite a while.
How about resetting CP's to 0?
