    Add minimum range, remove cast time (which will fix the porting-through-doors issue in many if not all cases) and remove the silence / root on all these gap closers..

    I have a better fix.

    Ambush creates a Hellow Kitty visual effect that stays on your screen for 4 sec, each successive one w/in 4 sec doubles the number of Hellow Kitty faces. If spammed, eventually you see nothing but a screen full of Hello Kitty and a link to download Hello Kitty Online.

    Because the only gap closer that can be spam is ambush. Why ? because no minimum distance needed. It's rarely a big problem with other gap closers because one or two men gap closing you, then need to use something else while with nb we can simply spam ambush to death

    Add minimum range. Like someone else said, have the ability home in on the target instead of the location at cast time. Have two separate ranges, cast range (what it is now), and actual charge/teleport range a little farther to account for normal movement. TBH if you charge someone streaking and the timing isn't right you shouldn't be brought to their end streak spot. Same with a dodge roll.

    You're crazy. Your ideas are crazy and dangerous. I mean, they'd have to like actually copy pasta the code from Dragon Leap onto other gap closers.

    I mean, we all know how Dragon Leap doesn't have a mini root/silence to it. We all know how Dragon Leap lands where the player was if dodge/bolt escape are timed right. And we should all know asking for other gap closers to function logically like that is ridiculous.

Would it help if Ambush (since that seems to be most on people's minds) was changed to a 1 second stun instead of a root, allowing break free to (presumably) work.. or give it a closer range (e.g. 5 to 7 meters)..
    Disabling the grass may improve performance.

    You're not understanding my explanation. It has nothing to do w/ the tooltips, EVERY gap closer aside from Dragon Leap ult has an INHERENT root + all skills silence that affects the target the moment you cast it. This effect is not listed in the tooltip, it was added in secret around 1.4 and we only even know it exists in this form because the devs confirmed that this was added and intentional.

    The root + silence effect of gap closers is not something that you can CC break, it is not affected by any CC immunity. It exists apart from the normal CC system, the only actions you can perform are Block and Dodge. In the case of Ambush it is compounded because you are rooted + silenced when it's cast on you, then after travel time when it hits you you are hit with the 1 sec stun effect of Ambush - and then since Ambush has no minimum distance, they just keep spamming it on you point blank, locking you out of performing skills in the GCDs they use it. We're just lucky Ambush has a cast time or it could conceivably be used to lock people out of every GCD.

    If it isn't Ambush, it's Wrecking Blow. If it isn't Wrecking Blow, it's Biting Jabs. Concealed Weapon is another. Breaking CC is a complete crap shoot in this game, and it's annoying.

    Been levelling a stam dk since last week and using wrecking blow. I desync my target's health and movement in every single fight, thanks to wrecking blow. The guy can't move anymore, but the wrecking blow animation isn't over yet, and he can't CC break because technically he isn't stunned yet. Most bs skill ever after the gap closers.

    What I hate about gap closers, is that when I see the immunity swirls around my feet, I'd actually like to be in control of my character and able to move. That's not the case.
