I am starting to think half of all players in cyro are NBs
Yeah having to deal with 4 nightblades who did nothing but spam ambush this weekend was nonsense. No other abilities used.
The gap closer lockdown needs fixed and the ministun added to ambush needs removed.

Had this happen on my Sorc a few weeks back. Had two Nightblades just Ambush spam me. Couldn't break free, streak, or move. Just sat there watching my health disappear.
Only thing I can do now is run defensive rune if I'm by myself, so one of the NB's get stunned and I can streak away...

This was a stealth change added in sometime around 1.4, the idea being that before gap closers would fail if the target moved out of cast range before it connected. With this root + silence, it is now impossible for the target to get out of range by moving or using skills.
This is one of the stupidest ways the 'problem' could have been addressed, but in ZOS's eyes it's a good solution. Of course now when you have a couple ambush spamming NBs on you you're just stuck there, maybe able to cast a skill every few sec. Used to be you could block and dodge roll, but ZOS did their best to nerf those defenses.
WTB better gameplay mechanics, PST.

Or fix that stupid semi-stun.

PS: @CrowsDescend I think you may want to take a look at this it is a much better explanation than I could ever muster.
