Honestly I don't care much for seeing people way over the Delves' level down there. I mean why didn't they just do the delve when it was in their level range? Not as big an issue in Vet areas though but in not-Vet geez... Seeing VR16s only just THEN getting around to it? My gosh... Now if said "higher level" is actually in the area's level range and you just happen to be a bit below it that is understandable and if I ever happened to be said higher level with lower levels leaning on me for help I guess I wouldn't mind it lol

I skipped delves after I spent MULTIPLE gaming sessions trying the ENTIRE time to find a group. I don't usually have 5 or 6 hours to play every day like some people. When I sit down to play it's usually at most a 2 hour stretch... and when I spend all of those 2 hours in zone chat like a beggar asking if anyone wants to run the content or waiting for the god-awful LFG tool, I lose the motivation to play the dungeon and figure I'll come back later when I'm stronger.

What i find a bit frustrating is tho, is when u r in that "inbetween" level to high to go back on earlier quest and too low for newer ones, thats when i usually ask for a bit of help :)

I'm always glad when I can help someone in a public dungeon like that. In delves I probably wouldn't even realize that the other person needs help but I certainly wouldn't mind somebody following me there. I always wait at bosses in a delve to see if there's another player nearby that needs the boss so he or she has a chance to get the achievement and loot from the boss, too.

Personally... no I don't mind. Why would i? It doesn't get in my way at all.... I always make sure that they get a few hits in on the bosses etc so they can get the achv etc and I'm not ruining their day by them having to wait for a respawn.

Doesn't matter to me. I normally just do my thing and try not to kill other players enjoyment of the game. If it looks like they need a hand, I will throw a buff or heal to help out.

As far as vets in nonveteran delves. I just go for the completions. I often level up faster than the areas, so they are not challenging nor rewarding. I just go back when I'm bored and don't feel like doing anything else.

It's really gd to hear that higher level players don't mind helping some of us "early learning" ones. It's the 1st time i've played EOS and i am enjoying it, tho the kids laugh at me when i'm shouting and swearing at the screen, lol, must admit some of u are a nice bunch on here and seeing as im disabled it makes the game better for me. Cheers to all that help!!!!!!!!! ;):D

Uhhh...are you sure you mean 'delve'? Those are solo content. The dungeons require a group, unless you go back at higher levels for a completionist thing, or to get the skyshards.

I like to help those that i see having a bit of trouble, and certainly don't mind people following or helping me, but i also try not to interfere.

I use to always help but a few comments on these forums about "don't you hate it when you are solo'ing content and someone comes along and joins you" made me a bit wary not everyone wants/needs/or appreciates the help. but those are the odd balls. I think it is more annoying to be struggling and have some one come up and just watch you whilst doing nothing because they don't know if you want help. Its a double edged sword.

I do not mind at all, but I take my time reading notes and looting every single crate and bag... so if you run ahead hoping to be rescued, you might die. Usually though I try to help out if I see lower level characters in public dungeons struggling with the enemies (delves should be easy enough to solo but I'll throw in a heal if necessary).

Sometimes you're going back because in the public dungeons, you couldn't get all of the bosses for the last achievement when you went through at level. I've been doing exactly this, but I do try and do it on non-peak hours so that my v16 won't be in the way of lowbies. I STILL can't get the last boss I need in the freaking Auridon public dungeon to show up, and I still have one delve in Cyrodiil where I've stayed in that dungeon multiple times for several hours, and the last boss I need is never the one to randomly respawn. Oh Bloodmayne Cave, how I hate thee.

I dislike the whole "random boss respawn" design. Those of us around since the beginning know why they did it: because people we're farming bosses over and over because they respawned so quickly. But at this point, it's time to switch back and have all public dungeon bosses respawn at the same rate once they are killed. Ten minutes is fine, but I at least want to know that it's not a crap shoot as to which boss respawns when.

I have no issue as long as you're not just following me around doing nothing, feel welcome to attack my targets, even if it's a small amount of damage its a dps boost to me and gets me through quicker, and it doesn't take any loot or exp away from me, so why should I be bothered?

Don't mind it at all. Usually Whisper the person and ask if they'd like to group and ask if they have any questions about the game.

This usually turns into me crafting them 2 proper sets of armor & weapons. Then a friend invite ends up in my Notifications menu.

    Love helping people lol.

That happens to me a lot, I like to help low level newbies, I usually surprise them just before we part by crafting them a nice low level blue weapon, I just love to see the "OMG" response lol

Good question. My current toon is Lev 15, definitely a low level, and a great game day is being able to play with higher levels without them doing the "clique" thing. Today, had two Lev 6 following me around and it was a lot of fun. Let them take some hits and then I stepped in when needed. B)

Interesting......usually I see low level players are complaining that a v16 is ripping through the mobs before they can any xp. To answer your question no, I certainly don't care if you tag along, at v16 we get no XP anyhow. You can hang in the back with my pet goat ;) jk good luck on your quests/delves, I haven't done once since 1.5.
