I been reading a lot of negative posts about finder, last night could not get a group, to do gold pledge, so I said what the hell..

I queue up, 5 minutes later if not less, I am in a group, all vet 16 players, we finished gold and silver pledges in no time.

Did I get lucky to get in a group with good players? maybe I did, but that is that chance you take with pug groups.

Nice job Zen, on fixing Group finder.

First experiences can oft times be misleading. Results will always vary no matter how often you use it so it usually takes at least a few uses to get a good handle on things. Generally though it does indeed boil down to luck and timing with stuff like this. Glad you had a good experience though

The LFG Tool does exactly as advertised: finds you a group for what you want to do as the role you want to play as. The quality of that group is not guaranteed by the LFG Tool though the LFG buff to stats does a little to counteract bad groups.
Ultimately it is a PUG experience. Mixed bag.

I have a question, you are writting you have yesterday "finished gold and silver pledges". I did the Undaunted pledges 3 times now and every time I got only the silver key (I know why now, why not gold), but that was all I could do. I was not able to do the pledge again to get the gold key. Only the next day.

Am I missing something (I am not a pro player)? Are there any other daily pledges that I can play at the same day (not only the one from Undaunted)? Or how do these daily pledges work? Do I have to do something to be able to do a second pledge in the same day? I finished the daily pledge, talked to the npc, got the key, opened the chest and there was no arrow above any Undaunted NPC indicating that I can do another pledge the same day.

You get the vet pledge from one person, the normal pledge from someone else. 2 pledges per day.

The vet you can get gold, silver if you don't do additional.

Normal you get silver, bronze if you don't kill all additional bosses.

Yep, they did good job there no doubt. But most ppl say it's about a year later than it should be.

yes I know now why I get silver key and why bronze/gold. But I am VR2 now and I only was able to do one pledge. Where do I get the second one?

Gold pledge: You have to do the hardmode on the last boss (on top of killing all the required bosses) on the veteran mode of the dungeons - it should also inform you of this in "hints" within the quest - read it.

Silver pledge: just dungeons set to 'normal mode'. You have to kill all bosses to get silver; otherwise you will get bronze.

You only get 1 silver pledge and 1 gold pledge on the same day. What can happen is if you accepted both daily pledge quest one day, but didn't finish it while still sitting in your quest journal, you can complete it the next day and get a new fresh daily pledge quests for that next day.

The second questgiver is standing just a few meters from the first one. You should be able to find him.

No need to get *** about it.

You donn't know how you get either golld or bronze as you can't fer both from the same pledge and you xouldn't do more than 1 pledge.

The pledge givers are a few feet away from each other.

I'm pretty excited for this when it hits console.... I have read mixed reviews but overall it sounds like it works better.

my friend and i are a tank and healer.... we queue up to find two dps and sometimes it literally takes hours (if we get in a group at all)
We can't always rely on guild friends (even though this is always a better grouping option)... everyone has things they need to do with family, job, friends, etc. no big deal there.
But you can't tell me that there wasn't at least two people out there in the group finder queue looking for a tank and healer....

Some of you that aint used it in a couple weeks may not know how bad it was last week.

I just ran it and can confirm its doable with a v16, I was even the lowbie and i tanked it as DK47. ALOT different than it was last week, and i kinda think that small patch changed something.
