There is no pause, there is no save, either do it or don't the only thing that should be compensated for is when things happen that are outside of your control, if you can control it you have nobody but yourself to blame.

I'm not sure why anyone thinks it's "unfair" to be able to save progress. Ok, maybe for the leader-boards, sure. But people have already said they would be fine with leader-board ranking only being possible if you do the whole thing in one go. As long as saving your progress eliminates you from being able to compete on the leader-boards, there would be absolutely nothing "unfair" about being able to save your progress and come back later.

Not being able to save does nothing other than prevent people with limited play time from being able to complete MA in Vet mode, which is stupid. Completing any challenge in a game should be based on skill, not how long you can go in a gaming session without a break.

Problem with putting the arena on a weekly raid timer is the current loot tables. They would have to really cut back on the bogus traits and up the weapon chance.
