Stealth nerf to decon drops?

I did my pledges last night and today, I got 2 pieces of new VR16 mat gear, bosses now only drop potions and a soul gem besides the final bosses, which had the normal trash.

Is this just REALLY bad RNG or did they literally nerf the only way for non DLC players to get new mats?

I've been suffering from the same thing. 4-5 dungeons done and 3, maybe 4 deconstructable items.

Seems to be ZoS's way of saying: Buy orsinium so you can gather mats instead of doing our other pay-less content.

I also didn't get anything after beating Bogdon, just 2 potions and a soul gem, I got the rest off of normal and another veteran pledge boss, I also noticed the bosses died WAY faster without any DPS increase, makes me think there might be a stealth nerf to dungeons

We need more people to confirm this, I will also run pledges tomorrow and see if I get hardly any decon gear, I also only got 1 purple decon item, gold, a soul gem, and a motif part per gold key.

I think you might be right, I also saw this while running dungeons.

Also that bug where you can not pick up loot from boss after killing them, it's back...

Yep, ran multiple dungeons last night. Very few drops from normal mobs.

GG ZOS, once again you prove to us that you have ZERO CONFIDENCE in your DLC selling itself that you went on and nerfed the base game.

Yup, had this happen on Spindleclutch.

Good thing I have like 3 stacks of drop potions each, and almost 200 soul gems so not getting one drop doesn't really bug me.

Yes, definitely. We're not speaking about ruby mats, but lower. Deconned item now gives 2-3 refined mats only. I suspect they wanted nerf mob grinding mats gain.

edit: now I see I'm speaking abotu something else than OP. But nvm, this is what I noticed.

I am talking about the drops off of bosses in dungeons/veteran dungeons, before Orsinium they almost always dropped 2 deconable new mat items, now they dont drop a single piece of trash.

What about V15 and V15/16 drops from trash mobs throughout the vet dungeons? Have those decreased as well?

They have indeed. I did Veteran Hollow last night and most if not all of my trash mob drops were gold and junk items.

Ah gotcha. I read it as only end bosses not dropping decon items.

Well that REALLY sucks. Running vet dungeons was a great way to get crafting mats while getting decent exp and farming monster helms. But that's precisely why ZOS stealth nerfed it to encourage more people into IC and Orsinium for highest level mats. smh

I'll reserve most of my comments until ZOS confirms but, if true, this is a low, garbage type move that should be beneath a company like ZOS (You expect these types of action from sketchy companies like some of the Steam Early Access developers). If confirmed, this will definitely make me wonder if I'm interested in supporting the game because of the direction moves like this foretell.

I have noticed that enemy drops all around have been nerfed.. they are not dropping as many items nor as much gold.

What about world boss' in Orsinium? I haven't gotten any loot from them yet I'm getting the achievements/exp credit for the kills... Am I the only one this is happening too?

I noticed this yesterday as well... 4 bosses down and no loot from any of them.

Bump. Any estimate on when this might be addressed?

Also, I noticed that it only affects certain dungeons. For example, Nonvet Darkshade was fine, but vet Darkshade was broken.

to me it seems that only vet dungeons are affected. normal dungeons appeared to drop v15 decon gear at normal rate.

I did another normal pledge today, all I got was a Laurel, no decon gear.
