So your fingers ran way too fast for whatever it was that was trying to come from your mind.

You want reality. YOU AND I, NO ONE HERE BUT ZOS knows whatever is going on internally in their offices. No one here knows what management has allowed anyone, Rich Lambert, Brian Wheeler, Gina Bruno, etc to say or not say. So let's get that one fact completely clear. There is nothing here about what opinion you or anyone else holds. It is completely about the extremely disrespectful way MANY here have been to ZOS and individual ZOS employees in particular more than a handful of times. You following me so far Raisinette?

A long time ago they said they would implement some changes to help combat lag and they kept their promise and lag has improved. Unless you going to prove it hasn't? ZOS never said O WE HAVE THE ULTIMATE FIX FOR LAG!!!!! They said they are working and looking at what they can do to help the situation and they continue to do so. If ZOS's answer and timeline for things doesn't work for you then leave. But you'd rather sit here after a year and a half and continue pointing the finger at ZOS "EHHHH ZOS!!! EHHH!!!! YOU GUYS!!!! Like I said above, those in the ESO community that said their peace and walked away when they said they would have more guts than you.

And if you want a tip from me Raisins, replace your consumption of processed sugars with a daily bowl of Greek yogurt and you just might start feeling better about yourself and the world.

Dude, just stop it. Your first posts might have been a bit funny at least, but you are getting just pathetic repeating the same empty phrases each and every day. Like a sad, worn out entertainer without audience, unable to get that he is neither funny nor smart, repeating the same old message day in day out.

Get a job, it`s not difficult to interprete what`s going on at ZOS HQ internally if you take the game`s development over the course of the past 18 months into consideration ansd actually experienced business development by yourself. ZOS has made a lot of promises, did you read their manifest? They didn`t deliver but took the cash.

Some people just turn around, some people actually prefer to hold someone responsible for their promises.

It`s not on you to judge. Think, take a step back and let people decide for themselves how they treat a company that is so painfully disrespecting any promise they made to get what they want.

Another fun thought experiment: What if ESO is not a computer game, but a washing machine or a car or something.

It's too bad I can't 'return' this product, because it did not deliver on many of the promises made. I'd like some better consumer protection for products and manufacturers like this.

You know, I leisurely read over this thread, more of a skimming than actual word for word. And there are a few posts here that if I wanted to I'd probably whip up one of my famous posts and rip it to the heavens. But I will not be doing that this morning here, here in NYC home of the NY Mets.

You guys, along with many of your former compadres were saying ESO was on it's death bed back in something like August 2014, and ESO had only officially launched in April of that year. We here in the alliance war subforum are in a vacuum. We see things strictly through myopic eyes of PvP (which now I am officially declaring player vs. player means player vs. Publius). I would venture to say that the PvE aspect of ESO is pretty healthy and providing those that love Elder Scrolls and PvE a satisfactory experience. I am here because way back when (back when my biceps were smaller) a game called Morrowind on Xbox blew my mind. I enjoy PvE as well and from what I see from the Orsinium marketing material that zone really has the scope and feel of Elder Scrolls. In my preliminary opinion, blows all the previous zones away. Just imagine ZOS improving on that and one day (hopefully soon) allowing us to return to Vvardenfell.

So I would really need more evidence on the whole "ESO is dying", "ESO is dead".

Further, all that talk about ZOS is stupid, Rich Lambert doesn't care, Brian Wheeler doesn't understand what PvPers want, etc, is completely ludicrous and pure poppycock. To blanket ZOS with statements like that when all the facts, their internal company discussions, etc etc etc, are not known is pure lunacy. And quite frankly the sign of a stereotypical video game whining sissy. If you don't like what you see, walk away. You been sitting here for over a year and a half talking about game death and leaving yet you are still here. The players that have actually left the game by now and were brining up the same gripes as you have more guts than you. I would even venture to say that pushing aside all the whining, you are still here because you enjoy playing ESO.

And just so you know, Julian Edelman feels the same way I do about all of this. Ask him.

A lot of you should take a page out of Sypher, King Richard, Lefty Lucy (even though he is obsessed with being drunk it seems), and FENGRUSH's book. They discuss the game and what they would like changed, but they don't disrespect ZOS. Think about it! Sypher is what? 19 or 20 years old? Can't even legally consume alcohol and he shows more respect than many of you "adults" here.

Many of you have greatly disappointed me.... Especially Jules and her Haxus Pound Puppies army....

    Justin-Bieber-Clap-1427775134.gif

These people you speak so highly of, the big streamers and youtubers, any public figure, or game celebrity if you will. Just because they don't say anything negative about ZOS in public doesn't mean they don't say it. I've talked to several big ESO names, both past and present, and they all agree that ZOS could and should be doing alot better with their game. But they won't say it outloud, that would be stupid to do so and they know it. They've got too much to gain personally and badmouthing ZOS would be a big step back for them and all the people that follow them on twitch, youtube, twitter or w/e.

Example, imagine if somebody like Sypher quit the game, badmouthing ZOS on his way out, do you have any idea how many paying people would follow suit and quit also? Guys like Sypher are why this game still has a decent size playerbase. But that doesn't mean they don't talk about ZOS behind closed doors.

There ARE major issues with this game and it's developers, issues that NEED to be addressed if this game is going to survive the next wave of big MMO's.

Respect is not tied to any streaming or anything else. You either show it or you don't. You don't like ESO you go. You like ESO you stay. You don't like ESO, stay, and disrespect the devs.... Clown status.

In my Greek yogurt filled world we have something called disrespect and on the other side of the spectrum something called constructive criticism.

When constructive criticism falls on deaf ears for too long the result is disrespect which zos is now getting after over one year of the same problems in pvp.

Nobody denies it´s a pvp only issue. It´s a nice pve game.

It´s not even permantly. The game is only a horrible mess on primetime. It would be the best pvp game around if the performance on primetime could match that on off times.

So go to the gym more often and eat less greek yogurt to get your dreambody isntead of posting nonsense on the forums.

In my Greek yogurt filled world we have something called disrespect and on the other side of the spectrum something called constructive criticism.

We've had 2 years of this man. We tried respect. We tried patience. We tried pretty much everything under the sun to get ZoS to start communicating more with us. Constructive criticism failed, and disrespect is the natural human response to being ignored.

A year into the game the toxicity was getting bad. I was still a "Fan boy" then with hope and offered all sorts of constructive criticism and feedback. They instituted some crazy forum clampdown which ended up with a ton of players permabanned on the forums. This was done in order to improve the atmosphere of the forums and make it more inviting so the devs could come here and start communicating. I didn't like the clampdown, but I saw it for the better good so we could really open up the communication to start improving the game.

It never happened. Paul Sage left, and his replacement's idea of communication at best is a freaking "/Lurk". There were moments where a Dev would pop in here and say they think they have a fix for a major issue, everyone including myself would always get our hopes up and start thinking positive again. And then the fix didn't work...or it took 6 months to make its way into the game (Nirnhoned) and various other things.

Long Story Short, most of the old guard such as myself used to be some of the biggest fans of this game and fought off many of the early naysayers in the game. It turns out they were right and the trust we placed in ZoS was misplaced. We're pretty bitter about that and it's a normal human response to be so.

As far as Sypher and Fengrush. I went to watch them doing some PvP the other night. Sypher was playing Hearthstone. When asked why, he said he was bored of the PvP in ESO and wanted to play something else for awhile. I switched over to Fengrush's channel and he said much the same thing and was doing Maelstrom Arena. PvP is in the unhealthiest state it has ever been in my 2+ years of playing ESO. I don't know how I can make this any clearer for you...

How can you say that? It is extreme disrespectful not not talk to your customers. Those that have spent a significant part of their free time for two years. Asking simple questions and wanting a healthy game in return. Then lying and going free to play. Putting in AOE caps. Making game breaking changes without warning in some cases.

I will tell you why they are not here on the forums. They are at minimum staff now to maximize profits because they saw awhile ago the real numbers of people leaving. And I can tell you it was probably right after they put in the AOE cap.

Definitely hard to still be a "fan boy", I saw the potential for a long time, knew how many provinces, realms, islands and possibilities the TES world of Nirn could bring a game like this... and how many years it could thrive but ZOS just can't seem to get it figured out and stabilized.

i feel like gamers have a standard they developed over the years of playing games, and there should be a certain respect that gaming companies/producers give their customers.

if i buy a product.. and it works as intended, i become happy with that product. and over time a certain loyalty happens. i buy that product over and over. i support it. i recommend it.

gamers sometimes get the shaft. we spend money to purchase a game. we play it and feel it does not meet our standard, functions missing/lacking, bugs, just something feels off about it...all sorts of things. so we come here.

trying to communicate through the forums is a reasonable effort on the players part. sometimes its not nice, but sometimes and myself included, just need to be heard. we want to have some form of acknowledgement..... here we have a product in our hands, we like it, we followed the series for years, we want it to survive and succeed.....we want to be loyal....but theres a silence that happens that does not show any respect towards the gamers....it divides the player attachment to the game even further. and with ZOS its been a steady thing. i dont blame people that get upset .

this i feel is where the feelings come into play, because we as gamers have this 30 gigs of data sitting in our computers, and no way to really reach out and get answers. dead silence. issues/serious topics ignored.... i personally feel more attached and more supportive towards gaming companies , big or small where i see devs on the forums just chatting it up. shooting ideas around with players. theres a presence , and not just " now behave," there's a connection. too long have things been thrown under the rug, dismissed, or not answered. they had plenty of time to come up with a politically correct answer.....or the truth..

i am not saying they owe each and every single response or gripe on these forums a flat out answer. but if they were to come into the forums and chat with the customers.. explain things, shoot some ideas around. get a feel for what players are expecting or desire. polls, anything that connects the two..i feel it would make a huge difference. instead of making more distance between us, might bring us closer. more loyal. happy

i think its time, that gaming companies in the year 2015, start to give gamer's a little bit more respect. and i think we all deserve it.

Man so many of you here are so ridiculous. I can only just let my posts stand. Keep being angry at the video game company guys.

You talk as if them being a video game company makes any difference. They are still a company, a business, they still take our money. They are still responsible for how they treat customers and how their comunity views them. If we, the community view them in a negative fashion, that means the company messed up. Nobody came into this game with a negative attitude towards it, it happened because of all the broken promises and broken, unbalanced gameplay.

Them being a "video game company" doesn't make them any less responsible for what they do and say, or in the case of ZOS, what they don't do and don't say. They can't keep giving us the cold shoulder and ignoring so many of the games issues and not expect any kind of backlash, and neither can you.

I won't speak for ZOS or anyone else. My words are my own. You and the rest of the circus keep complaining, many (not all) post disrespectful comments directed at the devs. Yet you haven't left. You say the restaurant has terrible food and terrible service, management is incompetent, yet every week you have a reservation and you sit and eat there. Yeah.... It's exactly like that.

If I was so displeased with a restaurant and kept coming back for more, do you know what they would call me? A f[snip]ing idiot.

Respect this, respect that. Why do you care so much if people respect or don't respect ZOS? Do you know work for them? Do you personally know people at ZOS? Real life friends of yours maybe? I don't get why you care SO much about what people say, especially if it's just a video game company to you. You have all this respect for people you don't know and probably never will, respect should be hard to earn and even harder to maintain, yet you seem to give out respect like it's candy.

And the reason why many of us are still playing this game and supporting it is because there is nothing out there left to play atm. I've played everything there is to play out there. MMO's have been in steady decline for years now. Every major release has been an epic letdown, ESO not any different. Most of this games community will most likely be gone when something else comes along, but until then we will always try to get ZOS to improve upon their lack of community interaction and poorly designed game systems.

You can call the customer an idiot for eating at the same restaurant every week , but the same can be said for the cook/waiter that serves the same pile of dog sh*t on a plate and says it's good food.

Respect is earned, not given. I've shown plenty respect to this game and ZOS, and I still do somewhat. But that respect and patience with them is slowly but surely dwindling.

As for clown status...pretty sure that rank belongs to you with all your sh*tty bicep and greek yogurt jokes.

GIVE RESPECT GET RESPECT. And the devs haven't disrespected any of us.

And who said anything about biceps and greek yogurt being jokes?

To me this is disrespectful: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/88049/do-you-think-there-should-be-an-aoe-cap/p1

87% of customers say "We don't want this," yet ZoS says "No."

Also, it's considered polite in most quarters to respond when spoken to.

Once CU comes out, I am gone. And, no, you can't have my stuff.

The amount of old school people that must have left for the average to be 90 must be frighteningly large. If I was bankrolling this I would be pulling people into meetings and chewing them out after finding that out. That is a sign of a huge sickness within the game.

ZOS didn't simply underdeliver on a product to its customers. Ultimately they pulled out the linchpin of the community.

We had people from all different backgrounds who, for a brief moment, were all able to congregate around a common interest.

A lot of you no doubt made new friends here, people who you might never have met otherwise, and with any luck you'll be able to continue on with them to the next game, whether that's Camelot Unchained or Crowfall or just playing Non-MMOs together. There are many more, though, who have simply drifted away, or are moving on to game that you won't be able to get invested in. I think that's crappiest part of this whole situation.

I myself came from WOW, pretty much doing only PVE/raiding.
I never imagined that I would find myself playing an open world AvA type PVP game alongside former DAOC players... but I did and it was pretty great! (when it worked)

I think the game expanded horizons for a lot of people in that way.

I've gone back to WOW now, so that's that... but it was fun derping around in Cyrodiil with all you wonderful random strangers!

And who knows... I've gotten a taste of AvA PvP now... so maybe I'll check out Camelot when it comes out...
Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

    LOL !!

People like Sypher have a few hundred followers and that's fine, good for them, but that hardly makes them prescribers, opinion leaders or gurus in the ESO community. Just maybe in your eyes and the eyes of the few who actually prefer to watch him play rather than playing themselves.

Ultimately, it's Sypher who makes a living thanks to ESO and not ESO who makes a living thanks to Sypher ! :-)

(or any other streamer for that matter, sorry Sypher, nothing personal here ;-) )

As to the eternal "ZOS doesn't listen, ZOS doesn't answer"... it looks like ZOS listens and ZOS answers, you just don't like those answers that's all. For instance :

Player : "We want PVP arena" !!!
ZOS : "PVP arena is not a feature that we are considering for the near future, maybe later, maybe not"
Player : "... but... we want PVP arena ... we want PVP arena... we want PVP arena... we want PVP arena... "
ZOS : ".... we've already answered that one..."
Player : "ZOS doesn't listen, ZOS doesn't answer...We want PVP arena"
(back to square one, rinse and repeat).
