    PvP dk: Have dragon blood, obsidian shield, flame lash, wings, immovable, dragon leap ult... Hold block and roll your face across your keyboard. 1vX win.
    Stop crying you little girl, I see DKs outlast 3+ enemy players by using 3 abilities every day. DKs tank and kite better than any class in the game still, and manage to have enough dps to kill too, unlike some other tanky pvp class builds. L2P instead of QQ. And yes, I have a DK, and yes, its just that easy. Its boring how easily a dk can keep himself alive against numerous enemies with such little effort. smh

    And my dk can flap his wings and fly if I hit reflective scales fast enough. The other day I flew into an EP keep and took out the emperor and 40 of his Zerg peons + all the npcs on flags. Oh also my burning breath ticks for 50k crits.

    Here's an idea; what if chains was fixed so that it now works as it should (always placing you near the enemy/enemy near you) and make at least one of the DK's many DOT's un-purgable? That way people would have to be a lot smarter to avoid being in melee range of a DK, and if they were unlucky and had it happen they would lose some of their DPS trying to heal off the effect.

    For those who really want to magicka DK, I think the best thing to do is to wear the reactive heavy armor set, wear bloodspawn, stack spellpower on willpower jewelry and go drink to get regen. You now have a lot of mitigation, decent spellpower, good regen, good ultimate generation, and an armor set the makes you practically invincible when you are CCed or immobilized (don't break free of immobilize). Get in a group and play the tank role. Just dive in the middle of enemy groups and talons, deep breathe, whip, wings, proximity detonation, drop banners - because those AoEs actually are competitive. If your group is good enough, you can feel like you accomplished something. Still frustrating though because even when things are going well, the 250 nerf cost for banner is an insult to what you are trying to do and you aren't the one getting killing blows. But at least you are making a contribution.

    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    Have to be very careful who you target with meteor in PvP because even if you have reflect up, 2 classes can completely negate it (Templar and NB). Fossilizing first will usually do the trick though.

    My DK so far is more of a flame mage than anything else. He has all the passives maxed in dunmer racials, light armor, DK and destro staff. I think I skipped the the blocking related ones because I suck at it and until I get better, it's a waste.

    I play him as a mage and it ends up being more a support role than one of the Holy Trinity (if you need solo play, or if you play with PUGs who don't actually communicate with each other - the "three roles" are handy shortcuts). I use things like the destro blasts that fling or interupt spellcasters, things like talons or chains to hold people down or snag, things like breathing fire or dragon standard to start DoTs,

    It's a support role - the DPS's have a much easier time when I'm around - but I would be hard pressed to do their job. I'm also a good choice to rez someone if need be (between igneous shield & green dragon blood I may drop a bit, but I rarely actually die).

    I learned after the first major patch that what is true in one iteration of the game/class/whatever may change drastically in the next. So I try not to worry too much about "used to be able to - whatever". I just enjoy exploring what is available.

    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    I'm a magic DK in PVP and contribute to wiping raids as well, but it is mostly my friend doing the killing. I just have proc and meteor...
    haha exactly proximity det and meteor those well known DK class moves. There use to be a time where when you entered a keep and dropped that banner over the flag it was as good as capped, now less than half the abilities I'im slotting on my bar are DK abilities.

    reading some of the peoples comments in this thread i think there must be a crack of the mega server in korea still running 1.6. or before

    I am pretty much just using DK to stand in front of players using siege and reflect/off heal. Or use radiant mage light to find and talons/eruption the stealth wh*res that try to gank them.

    The Major Defile on Banner is still stonk, no doubt. Damage is bad though.
