Congrats, it only required 3+ raids of AD attacking our 16 man simultaneously, while your other groups were flagging keeps that EP wasn't at. Anyways , it was a good fight, we got alot of AP and some good clips. We also want to challenge you and whatever guild(s) you are in to a fair GvG. What do you say?

I was soloing him at chal farm. Killed one reign supreme or sumthing but lost to an emp. no biggie

We had some help from pugs in zone, aside from that there wasn't that many EP there to begin with. Probably not even a full raids worth. Meanwhile AD has at least 3 raids. And unlike the other 2 factions EP rarely even mentions numbers, because we always get double teamed and you all know that you outnumber us every chance you get. It was fun though, good fight.

Everyone gets double teamed. Don't generalize the pops based on one night. I've seen posts from all factions complaining about being outnumbered.

You guys held on very well and it was a lot of fun when we weren't with the rest of AD. Nobody is going to be able to defend against those numbers unless you have the same and reluctantly we had to coordinate to cap (take it as a compliment). We had just under a raid (most we've had in months) and still had to play very conservatively because you guys hit like a truck. Hopefully you can get some more EP out there and DC shows up to make this campaign fun.

Sorry i was fighting off the emp when his help showed up so i had to use whatever I had at my disposal to fight you two off. Although he wiped me i like the challenge and gives me insight on my build.

We've all done zerg surfing especially when its the last emp keep.


Edit: I apologize for tbaggin, you should ask Hektik and Meth why i did that :P

When you ran I was like DAMN almost had him, then as soon as you hit the barn that damn mage guard hit me with his Aoe bs, you popped out and bam. I was dead. Anyways this Gvg thing needs to happen. Whether you yourself is apart of it or not. To many times have I had to bear witness to 60+ad taking any keep, or in this case last emp keep, and making stupid remarks to our 16 man, "OHHHHH GET REKT," or the occasional "You guys suck, keep zerging, it's the only way you can win." Or my personal favorite, some person hopping onto to forums and saying something along the lines of "see what happens when the competition shows up!" When in all reality its just 2-3 raids along with enough pugs to fill another 2 raids bringing 3 walls down at a keep and stacking the flags. And no need for the apology, we all do it as well lol.

Some how or another, ZOS needs to address the population imbalance of Cyrodil. That is the only way to fix things. Maybe lock the PVP faction to the account and the once the limit of the faction is reached, block any more from joining the faction for PVP until the factions are equally distributed.

No, it won't stop the taking the map while people are asleep or at work, but it would stop the fact that some factions are vastly outnumbered.

Campaign Releases -> Faction X PvDoors map -> Factions Y & Z log in, get discouraged -> Campaign becomes dead until Organized Guild PvDoors all but the emp keep without opposition -> Faction X complains about numbers at final defense

Putting all my brainpower and very heavy thinking into this new and welcomed feature leads me to the conclusion that it probably won't change anything. Why go there, if you have like 5+ other campaigns with open access for everyone?

- To get PvP-free IC whenever your alliance is dominating the map.

People take their video games way too seriously, there's barely any hardcore pvp guilds or players left in this game. Chillax and enjoy the bumpy kinda *** ride till the next train (video game) is available.

There's a fair amount of decent guilds and potential competition, we're just spread out across different servers. If only we were all concentrated on one megaserver that could handle hundreds of players simultaneously on screen....

EP has lost the last few competitive AS campaigns.

Winning or losing the last few campaigns doesn't matter now does it? I could take it way back and bring up the fact that EP won the first Wabbajack, and probably has the highest total campaign wins, but that's not saying much is it? DC is getting destroyed in the here and now, where it matters. Please try and keep the thread relavant and on topic, thanks.

When you claim that there's no DC or AD leadership left, that's where you end up kinda losing everyone in the reality department. There have been organizing AD guilds and DC guilds trying very hard to find decent competition. Denying this seems strange, unless of course you have spent the past few weeks desperately trying to avoid any competitive fights. This new gated campaign started today, and I'm sure we'll see some of the organized DC guilds who want to have regular competitive pvp come to this campaign and see if it's actually good fights or just a few red players who like to pvd and sweep the map in off hours. Also... even if there are "defenders" it's still pvd if said defenders are not strong players and the guards staying at their weakened state. Sadly GoS has been the only solid red guild who can throw up larger scale organized fights since IC started in my experiences thus far. Maybe this campaign will become the competitive battleground that folks want it to be, but either way starting off by buffing yourself up during off hours remains... tacky.

No one tacked themselves up. Akinos and Meth simply defended themselves against people accusing EP for pvedooring the map with not more than 6 players. If DC or AD would have just tried a lil bit they could have easily blocked this.

Also, it is not the style of Meth and his guild to pvedoor as far as I'm concerned. Also like you pointed out, it is only the beginning so I don't understand why AD and DC panic. There is alot to come still. No faction to blame, there had to be one starting the work.

Honestly I think it might be a good idea for these 2 campaigns I mention to not even have cyrodiil. You enter the queue for these and are put straight into ic.
