Doesn't really matter who you go with half the time, there's often other groups doing the boss.

Dont know how many times i've gone middle with my perfectly contribution attuned group of 8-10 members, only to find a 20-man PvE train storming in when we're about to kill Molagz shadow lol. Than 0 loot for me as healer and 0 for our tank...again.

So you need to play way outside of primetime and go to some dead campaign(with a group with less than 12) if you want loot as healer or tank.

That's how I got pet + 2 rare runes.

Do you know anyone who has gotten one of the pets from Mr. Bal?

I got a Scamp Pet the second time I did him with a group ( twenty-odd) of Ethereal Traders guildies. I was on my Vr11 Nightblade doing mediocre DPS. The third through fifth with groups from six to nine members I have got just a little gold.
So perhaps they nerfed the drops with the latest patch. Or they nerfed me.

Im a main tank, i dont know how many times i've done molag bal but its around 15-20 i believe. I might have not gotten loot like 2 or 3 times due to either joining in on the fight a bit late or having 2 big zergs joining in the fight. Which is perfectly fine i get it when 40ppl smash on the same thing that not everyone get loot. But the times i've done it even with more than 12 members i've gotten loot. Im main tank, im not permablocking or anything, but i try to do as much as i can with what i got, so as a dk tank i use burning embers and taunt to reduce armor. This info is probably not usefull, but im telling you guys so that you can see that tanks get loot too. But i totally understand that it doesnt seem fair.

it was made to be killed by 12. 30 people kill the boss in what? 30 seconds? thats not how its supposed to be done.

You really helped change my perspective. I mean, I didn't notice at the time, but looking back at what happened, yea, there must have been at least 30 people fighting. And I expected loot? Ha! I can't believe that I made this thread!

"Play the way you want" unless of course you want to complete anything or get loot, then play as DPS.
