  • No fix for loading times
  • When completing writs, the quest progress will not show up in the crafting menu except for (I THINK) woodworking.
  • In some areas of the world, when in a subzone, (The Rift my biggest offender), opening up the map will show you show up on some random part of the zone map (rather than subsection), with the player indicator moving across the map at 200 mph, the way to fix this is to zoom out, bringing you to the same screen for the zone map.
  • Non DLC owners cannot complete pledges half the time because they're getting the objective to complete WGT and ICP. I refuse to think this is intended, as I've never heard of a game forcing players to purchase a DLC.
  • MASSIVE FPS drops, especially when first traveling to Cyrodiil, 2-6 FPS, with ping shooting up to 999+, the only way I found to fix this is to reload ui.
  • Ping seems to randomly rise over time, especially in Imperial City and Cyrodiil, jumping to 200, then 400, then anywhere above. The only fix for this I found is to relog, either quit or go to character select.

Agreed. No fixes for the borked instancing/scaling/party warp issues.

The worst offender is the FPS stuttering and memory leak issues and we didn't even get a fix for those (no, removing addons is NOT a fix).

The worst part is that it took them a week to figure out the UI scaling issue while Mer released an addon fix by the end of the week. Guess the Bethesda tradition is alive and well (have the modders fix the game).

Unfortunately, it is a fix. ZOS doesn't support any add-ons and all their testing is based solely on a vanilla game. If an add-on is causing issues, that's not their problem nor is it their responsibility to fix it.

    Yeah.... This is disappointing.

Well...owners of DLC cant really complete the gold key for VR WGT or ICP either. It's not really pug- or average player friendly. I only know like one or two guilds that can do it.

While I'm all for difficult PvE content, maybe not assign it as the daily quest. Kinda silly when only 0.05% of the player population can complete the pledge :smirk:

Other than that, I do agree, many things that needed fixing desperately. This patch is disappointing. However, I still think IC is awesome, just need a few tweaks.

Having a fix is way different from releasing one. My guess is they found the problem, made a change, and it broke 10X's as many things as it fixed. We're going to have ESO:LSU for a while. (Elder Scrolls Online: Loading Screens Unlimited)

    Yeah.... This is disappointing.

Destiny, its weekly nightfall and heroic quests would not only add the new DLC content to the rotation, but increase the light level required to attempt / stay competitive in ALL the weekly quests to the newly increased DLC light level that was only attainable through. . .DLC gear.

its a sad day when games mimic that greedy money obsessed lack of content lack of story RNG based gameplay toxic community that preys on weakness and flaws in the human brain piece of garbage.

but it made $$$$$$$$$$ so screw it who cares right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Greetings,

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited team. In light of the excitement and great demand for ESOTU, we are currently experiencing high contact volume. We encourage you to search our support site at https://help.elderscrollsonline.com for any in-game topics or issues you may have questions about. There are lots of helpful FAQs and links to our social pages.

Most in-game UI issues (including NPC, quest problems and missing crowns/entitlements) can be resolved by logging out for five minutes then back in which will load you into a new game instance.

You're not the only one. Having to disable minimap is a game breaker for me. I get turned around all too often, especially in places like the sewers. And getting separated from your group means death (and loss of your TVS). I need my minimap. I'm probably just going to login to run writs and feed my mounts. Playing isn't really an option.

Would it really have been too complicated for ZoS to offer an IC-pledge and non-IC pledge options when accepting them (same quest giver, just two options available for non-vet and vet)? They'd still be random but the two new dungeons would be in/excluded depending on your choice. Imagine how much worse it will become after Orsinuium, Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guilds, etc.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Is this true, that even though they are included in to the rotation of Undaunted, they are not accessible to non DLC Owners? That's a pretty unforgiving oversight on @ZoS's side isn't it?

So even though formally ZOS doesn't have to work on add-on compatibility, they should better do it imho.

I don't disagree with your opinion. Just simply stating the reality. The problem with trying to work with add-on compatibility is the following

    1. Add-ons add more load to your client. Sure, it's just visually showing more of what's already happening in the background, but it's not a free resource cost. This is more an issue because of how CPU-bound this game already is.
    2. Hypothetical: ZOS starts working with add-on devs to officially support the more popular ones. How do you decide which ones to support? Who gets to decide what add-ons are more important? Where is the cutoff? "We'll support FTC, Srendarr, and Wykkyds and work with the devs!" "But what about my mini-map? Or Master Merchant?! FU ZOS! I QUIT" On a side note, who are you going to get to work with add-on devs? Do you hire someone else?

There just isn't a simple way to deal with it really.

All that to say, when the PTS released, I simply decided to disable add-ons just to not have to deal with any compatibility issues. Turns out, once you learn to play with addons and get an idea of what's you're doing, it's surprising how easy it was to play without them. The visual and sound cues especially are infinitely better than they were. Now I know that's not an excuse, but just thought it was worth mentioning.

Way to solve another one CS. The funny thing is if you reply to a CS ticket saying it didn't work you just get the same email over and over again.

Didn't they just lay off half their CS? B2p is awesome sometimes.
