So, with Imperial City having just launched, when do you think ZOS will roughly start releasing information on Orsinium? If there is an ESO live tomorrow, think it will be then?

I hope soon. As much as I love PvP, I love exploring new zones! I can't wait for more of the map to be unlocked.

I heard from a friend of my cousin's brother that they're going to be talking more about it before the end of the year. He's pretty reliable too. He actually tried to warn us that Tom Brady was a jerk long before deflategate.

If we can expect equivalently terrible changes and unheeded warnings from testers as we're seeing from IC and PTS testing, then I won't be looking forward to it.

6 weeks was the initial target when game was subscription required. I believe they are aiming for 1 DLC per quarter mow. So every 13 weeks. So I would expect Orsinium sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I've heard that after IV they will release a new DLC every three months if they keep on schedule. Ill try to looks for where I heard this from.

I'm starting to get flashbacks of bungie.net forums all over again. Only 4 days since IC was released on PC/Mac and there's already a thread like this?

At any rate, my guess is within the next 1.5 months is when we're start being spoon fed more info on Orsinium. My only hope is it's less like Craglorn and more solo friendly. I would love to complete Craglorn, but it's tedious and soloing that content is torture. Well, at least for me.

Of course, not giving crafters access to the new materials in a PvE setting would be a nice continuation in their current policy of seeking to devalue crafters and crafting.... so I can see why they might still try that.

I'm assuming he's talking specifically about the Tel Var stones, as those would make absolutely no sense lore-wise to be found anywhere but Imperial City. They're small magic-imbued fragments of the White-Gold Tower, so it would make absolutely no sense to be able to collect them in Orsinium.

Ah, that makes more sense of the thing. Though to be honest if they made the actual crafting materials (runestones, solvents, ore, cloth, leather etc.) available in Orsinium then whether they add Tel Var stones or not is effectively moot as far as I am concerned. So the lore breaking aspect may not even need to apply.

The only info we have is that all VR16 sets will be nerfed on release of Orsinium to what ever VR14 sets were one week before Orsinium.

Also new VR18 sets will be what VR16 sets are now and available for only 50,000 mats and 1000 motif fragments plus a special random material.

Also a new horse will be in the crown store and a new pet.

Expect some stuttering, lag spikes, fps drops, longer loading screens and the looking for group tool to still be broken.

I'd agree - I don't think there'd be any real need for Tel Var stones to be in Orsinium if the crafting mats are available there. Plus that way there's still something special about Imperial City, because there's still stuff that you can only get with TV stones, so if you want that specific stuff you go there to get your stones.

Yeah I think you're right. Bear mounts will likely be tied to Orsinium in the same way that the Mind-Shriven Horse is tied to IC. If you're lucky, maybe one of them will be available in-game rather than from the Crown Store (like one of the IC pets).

I just hope people are wrong about Orsinium being VR18. We don't need another VR increase. Lvl 50 would be the best level to stick Orsinium at.
