Skyrim. First person mode works better in Skyrim than ESO IMO. Skyrim dungeons (delves) were deeper and had more variety. ESO delves sometimes use the same layout - this goes for buildings too. Soundtrack was bigger in Skyrim. In ESO I hear a lot of the same music and I'm on my 3rd zone. Every zone should have it's own music.

Sorry Skyrim had great side quests and occurrences but the game itself was bad without Mods. ESO is better, great side quests and relative balance. I could never get over cost reduction on spells to 100% and then stacking health. Without a mod to change enchantments to spell power/duration and then increasing your magician id consider the game unplayable. Although Skyrim does get points for making dunmer females look great.

On a seriousl note though, i really hope they don't stop releasing single player TES games and only release content for ESO. That'll be pretty shite. I'm about done with ESO and i've only been playing about a month! Well i've just talked myself into a vote

Trust me, you are never really done with The Elder Scrolls Online...

I think i'm just a bit pissed with it at the moment. I had just finished the main questline for my alliance but then was sent to do the other alliances questlines. While i wanted to check out the other areas....that just made no sense to me and the story lost all it's plausibility in one fell swoop! Even in my MMO's i need a believable story, they can't just make *** up. Plus i'm kind of attached to my alliance now and feel a bit like a traitor that i'm suddenly helping the others for no good reason. It just makes no sense.

So all i've been doing since then is PVP but that gets old real quick for me.

Morrowind is my favorite by far! I've always loved it. I love the storyline. Though it could be improved.

Single player Elder Scrolls games are getting progressively worse. Vanilla Skyrim was so watered down I almost couldn't believe it. Less choices to make, no reason to read and find clues, just quick travel to the map markers, enemies level up with you so nothing is every to powerful for you, etc.

Thank god the mod community is unbelievably outstanding.
