I really loved Skyrim, but I am also liking ESO a lot as well. While they share the same universe, they are such different games. I miss some of the game play mechanics and graphics that I got used to in Skyrim, but I love that ESO isn't as "lonely." It is like comparing apples and oranges to me.
This isn't a fair poll on two different type of games. Plus you should of put both in there and put skyrim (single player) to ESOTU (MMO).
Some times I think some of you have no clue on what a single player game is and an MMO is.
Seems like a lost cause with some of you.
I realize Morrowind has old graphics and the character creation is horrible. But the lore and the way it's so alien and different are what makes it awesome. I'm not going off of a glorified memory. I have it on my laptop and still play it.

You are right, for many , including many guildmates, this is their first mmo, that's why they tend doing wrong comparison , single player vs mmo, they don't know a buck what net code is or things like that, just ignorance and bad judjing.
Yeah In a way I liked the crafting options but the even the most common motifs are too rare (for my character to find looked everywhere and I mean everywhere)lordrichter wrote: »Elektrakosh wrote: »Snip!
This list contains a few things that I just wanted to comment on.
I think that the dual hand spell and weapon system in Skyrim is the basis of what TES should have across the board. It is what ESO should have gone with instead of what they have now. It is not the "MMO's must have bars" solution, but it is simple, it works and it would have scaled up to an MMO. I look forward to the next iteration of this in TES 6 because I think that they have found a mechanic that works.
There are things about a dual hand system that would send a lot of MMO players to Trembling Hills to recover. Still, I vastly prefer the two hand system over the bar system, and it would have put Spell Crafting front and center as a major part of the offensive and defensive part of the game. I think the result would have been awesome.
As for the crafting comments, I have to disagree. I think that crafting concept in ESO is well ahead of Skyrim and hope that TES 6 picks up this and moves forward from ESO instead of Skyrim. The idea of styles and traits is an improvement. Finding motifs to learn styles is good, and having to find and learn traits before they can be used is also good. The choice of trait and style material was odd, and could have been done better, but it is a good start. Sadly, now that ZOS needs to monetize the game, this stuff is ripe for the picking and has become grindy to a crazy extreme.
However .....
Morrowind > Skyrim
Oooo i have to go Morrowind, god i loved that game!
First truely open world game i'd played and was blown away
Anyway, sorry what was the original question...oh yeh....i don't care....Morrowind ftw
On a seriousl note though, i really hope they don't stop releasing single player TES games and only release content for ESO. That'll be pretty shite. I'm about done with ESO and i've only been playing about a month! Well i've just talked myself into a vote
