Nothing really, It was just a hour long waste of time and they said the patch notes would be out Monday and they weren't sure if it was going to start at 8 am or 10 am when patching starts. They said it will be late afternoon before we can log in.

I didn't hear anything else in that episode that was worth mentioning. Was a waste of 1 hour of my life.

I just couldn't believe the lack of information I got from this video. They failed to answer a couple of questions about the game too. One of the questions was about the lag in cyrodiil, and in the answer there was no mention of it being acknowledged to even exist or an explanation as to what causes it. They give a walk around answer, and I still don't understand why they even asked the question live on the air in the first place since they didn't have an answer. It made no sense.....

Like I said, A waste of an hour.

I did and my reaction was ... wow, that was one hour of my life.

I think it's nice that they encourage fan art. Since this was my first time watching, I can say they look like fun people. But an hour? A full hour?

Big patch coming next week but we knew that.

I applaud the effort but I'll probably not watch again. Sorry, Zeni.

They confirmed via my inquisition in the chat that Cold Siege Weapons are indeed bugged and will get fixed eventually. They also stated ESO Plus subscribers are going to eventually get a crafting bag that lets them store materials and stuff seperately from their normal inventory and bank slots. We also get some new vanity pets and mounts from a daedric theme such as Daedrat (a daedric skeever) and Mind Shriven, the Lightning Horse. That is all I honestly remember that actually matters unless you count the community events discussion that someone here hasn't already stated.

That's pretty much the highlights ^^^

They did mention the outage was an internet issue, but could not go into detail, I thought with the big patch Monday they might have had more to say, but I watch every ESO live always come out of it with something, I am amazed at some of the fan art and cosplay costumes the time people invest in Elder Scrolls they have some loyal and dedicated fans, nothing wrong with that.

I think that's quite a bombshell. Limiting the bags to ESO+ is weird. I wonder how that will work. Will they be bags that only ESO+ members can buy? Will ESO+ members who let their subscription lapse loose access to the bags and all the items in it.

With all the suggestions we've made as to how ESO+ could be improved and how bags could be implemented, their decision to tie these two together is interesting.

How is crafting going to be nerfed?

I never watch it if I can help it, its so disturbing to watch the .... not-very-compassionate (yes, my personal perception) attitude of people who obviously rarely if ever actually play the game.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

I think this is in reference to the drop rate and number of motif fragments required to craft the new stuff. I am certain that these will be in the Crown Store for an appropriate amount of Crowns.

The ESO Live event started out better. It had more actual info and I think was a promising event that could have fostered a great relationship with the community (in conjunction with the forums and the road ahead communication).

Over time most of the actual info has been pulled and more of the fluff has been added to the point that it's mostly not worth watching if you want to learn anything. I like Gina and many of the people they have on there and the "inside ZOS" segment can be interesting but those segments should be a side dish to the main course of ESO news/information. Instead, the fluff has become the main course.

They should be focusing on current and pressing game issues/concerns and immediate changes that are coming and even what's coming down the road but we get very little, if any, of that. It was amazing how little info about IC was presented when it's releasing so soon and all we got was "read the patch notes on Monday". If we are just supposed to read the patch notes for info then what is the point of ESO Live?

Sort of goes hand in hand with the disappearance of the "road ahead" articles and other lacking communication. I still watch it but I can no longer watch live due to work so I just skip over all segments other than news and AUA in the hopes of hearing something useful but rarely do. The AUA segment is particularly bad with the way they ignore the most pressing questions being asked and cherry pick what they want to answer and then give answers lacking any substance. Maybe instead of ESO Live they can just have a twitch feed of Rich Lambert typing /lurk. They could name it ESO /Lurk.

Disappointed. I thought the highlite was the cool sharp dressed programmer interview. Even tho, I hate to say it, I was a little disappointed in the questions they shot him. Frankly, for most players, his job is one of those.. "oh, he is the mechanic? Can you fix this noise guys." Would have been cool if he would have been able to point to.. ok.. see this in game? Now, I wrote the code and then we duplicated it 1000 time to make the anchor pinions drop."

Speaking of which, check the thread on the Dolman Pinion Urban Legend Debunked. Its over two pages.

Crafted Armor always got a +1 bonus when compared to found sets, in this update that is gone. Also, the sets requiring 2-4 traits of research have had their spell and weapon damage decreased by over 30%, and some sets encompassing all # traits have had aspects changed.

Plus the ridiculous new RNG systems for the new motifs, particularly glass.

This will make me resub in a heartbeat if it means I get hundreds of inventory slots back (between bank and 8 toons). Not having to play the 30 minutes of shuffling between characters to clear my bank enough so I can actually go play an hour will be invaluable.

It might seem strange, until you consider that I, for one, was considering cancelling my subscription after the IC came out (I'd just buy the DLC).

Bummer about the +1. Even tho I never noticed that with crafted sets, since they are mostly evens levels and land drops are mostly odds, until you get to VR14. Plus, I never used any armor not of a set after I left Davon's Watch and found the two crafting stations outside the newbie starter city. Set armor never matches any drops, Rewards of the Worthy or vendor for me to compare to.

What I find particularly frustrating is when Wrobel and Co. state (read:lie) that they prefer to never nerf when they can just buff something else; what they could just as easily have done in this case of the +1 Crafted set bonus was to increase found sets by 1 to compensate.

There is a plethora of examples of exactly this behavior elsewhere in the constant 'balancing' of the game.

Tell me, why are the concerted efforts of dedicated crafters worth less than endgame group gear searchers? Don't both spend a great deal of time on the game? And for those that can do both, why bother with crafting at all besides improving the gear?

I find watching it a waste of time, all they do is laugh at some inside jokes that make no sense to us. Majority of the questions they answer are answered in a round about way that makes sense to them I guess but majority of time not to us.

This whole bag thing for ESO+ members sounds more like a scam to keep people subbed. They should have stated what would happen once people are no longer subbed. Which brings up the point in how they answer questions and how it just makes more questions they never answer.

To me the show is nothing but a waste of time. I understand how a lot of you love Gina but she is the worse one when it comes to answers. She makes answering questions into a joke majority of time and it just leaves us with more questions.

I really wish they would hire someone with more experience on how to put these shows together and how to professionally answer our questions. Also people with more experience on how to fix the game period!

They have lost majority of experienced developers than they have hired.

They have lost majority of experienced developers than they have hired.

after watching a few of these, i take them to be what they present, unproffesional and lack of concern for anything a paying customer would deem worthy of their purchase, ive seen better work ethic from busboys and cashiers at 7 eleven.everything is a joke to them and light-hearted. slackers!!! i like gina because she at least makes more of effort to communicate to the people at the bottom.

The fact that this is how they view us is so sad and misguided.

Their customers are not the "bottom," they are the only reason their business exists.

Why continue to alienate us all with patronizing, condescending indifference? Pharoah complexes, all of them, because they can spit out a few lines of code. Congrats on the universe-defining awesomeness.
