Do new costumes fit Elder Scrolls Lore?

So my first thought on seeing the new incoming costumes was, is ESO sliding towards Korean MMO art?

While I think the costume art is really good, I'm not sure it fits the lore.

    What are the communities thoughts?

Not too far off from Morrowind, imo. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Exquisite_Clothing and look at the expensive and extravagant stuff. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Base_Clothing

I was asking myself the same when I saw them in game yesterday. They look too modern and they don't really fit into the look of the game. As for the male wedding suit, it reminds me of Sheogorath's suit. I think, these costumes are on a risky edge.

I'm definately interested in the High elf costume from the trailers. But EVERYONE will be wearing it and I really hate being a mainstream wife. :D I might wear it, if nobody is watching. But this costume is just too good and many many people are going to wear it. Also the male version looks promising.
    Auri-El is my lord,
    Trinimac is my shield,
    Magnus is my mind.

Nothing really that gamebreaking. I don't like Frostmare more.

The more lore breaking items the better! They fit the look and style of the game, that's all it needs to be

Tired of hearing "Lore" and "immersion" every time a sensible request is made to make this a better game

"Fit the look and style of the game" is exactly what lore-friendly means in this context.

There's one thing I dislike about equipping costumes. They cover your entire character, I'd much rather you were able to select which parts of the costume you wanted to use and apply them to armour slots, instead of having this 1 slot for costumes.

You can hide your helmet at least.

Some if it is pretty good, like the goats, netch, and bear-dog, and of course the trailer costumes. But the rest.... I remain iffy...

For me.. it does not fit the lore. It looks a lot like ArcheAge clothing. But it does open the possibility that one day we can have Stormtrooper armor. Yay starwars
