Imperial City Updates on PTS?

✭I really hope that they do not release next week and postpone a week or two. This update really needs at least another full week if not two. I would actually respect ZOS more if they came out and said they need more time to fix bugs/broken items/exploits and more in-depth balancing. Unfortunately they will likely give into public pressure and release next week a completely unfinished/broken/unpolished update that people are paying for....0 -

✭✭I just hope they change access to IC cause what the Daggerfall Covenant are doing right now on PTS completely locking out AD and spawn trapping EP is what the community was trying to tell ZoS what will happen and surprise surprise it has happened. One faction owns the entire map and city spawn trapping and AP and now TV farming. ZoS you need to change access to the city so stuff like this can never happen.1 -

it was already announced multiple times that IC will launch with unrestricted access...2 -

Of course it was always going to happen.
And all the blowhards whining about contested access and spouting 'pure' PvP'isms are in the main the same crowd responsible for spoiling other people's fun in 'their' expansion by camping, griefing etc.
This happens in all MMOs that try something like this, and can be seen a mile off by blind people.

I would expect them to hold to all their planned update dates now that we've moved away from the subscription model. Now if people aren't happy with the state of the DLC at launch they can wait to purchase it (if your not a plus member). And they certainly don't want get behind and have to delay future DLC because the current one gets delayed. They have less incentive than ever before to delay if it's not ready.0

Yep! We're currently aiming for the middle of next week. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, we are still on track to release Imperial City for PC on 8/31.

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way with ESO. The majority of the problems that are on PTS will go to live and only a small portion will get fixed on live. Basically we will have to live with the bugs/broken/balance issues that they give us. If you decide to hold out on DLC until things get fixed on live, you may be waiting a long time.
With another patch on PTS tomorrow, I still hold hope that they will delay another week for more polishing/fixing/balancing. But, since that is unlikely, congrats to all the NB's and Sorcs, this patch is for you......0 -
