EgoRush✭✭✭✭Sorcerers get crazy DPS single target thanks to Overload. Yes that reduces when they run out of ultimate, but wouldn't all classes do less DPS with no ultimate? Imagine a DK using no Standard of Might in a fight = lower DPS...
From the Sorcerers I've seen they do enough DPS while in Overload to still post competitive numbers post-Mantikora/Serpent with Overload running out. If any class is lacking in DPS it would be magicka Templar/Nightblade over Sorcerer imo.
The issue with Sorcerer is more that they don't have a class skill that is spammed in DPS rotations like DKs with whips and Templars with jabs. They rely on Force Pulse and Crystal Frag procs oftentimes.Server: EU Pact

✭✭It is definitely a bug and needs fixing. we're getting some 2 year old bugs fixed here, so why not this one.
The game hasn't been out for 2 years yet
I don't think it's a bug honestly, but if it is, it will be fixed after the PTS is over, since it is now extremely obvious that the skill gives you Empower as your arms start glowing when you cast it.
There are still bugs from beta.
Nowhere is mentioned in patchnotes or tooltip that this skill should grant Empower, so I consider it a bug and hope it gets fixed rather sooner than later.
Because that's exactly what PvE Sorcs need.... lower DPS!
I have no idea why anybody would want this fixed..... hardly used/an issue in PvP.... and in PvE sorcs need more dps not less... even if you werent a sorc yourself, you may run dungeons with them, so surely would want them doing as much damage as possible.
Because I want a bug free game maybe... ?
