Revert all the combat changes plz

    I kind of agree with the op. I believe that, bug fixes aside, the only thing 1.6 needed was increased health pools for everyone, and some tweaks to individual skills. "But what about sorcs' shields?" I hear you ask. Well fix the overload bug that many abuse and you nerf the shields for those people with overblown shields. Nobody is talking about this bug/exploit. It only allows you to have Inner Light or Bound Aegis active without having them slotted. These skills only increase your max magicka by a significant amount. Shields only scale off max magicka. See where I'm going with this? This bug is still in the game on pts ffs, and it really needs fixing.

    This is a very touchy & taboo topic, but PTS is playing decently right now with all the fixes & to be honest I'm scared messing with it too much will completely screw something up.

    I don't like that it takes 10-15 mins to kill someone, if they mess up they should be punished.
    This can be fixed by slightly increasing the damage. If they nerfed it by 50%, just change the number to 40% or 45%, it shouldn't be overly complicated to keep the combat interesting & rewarding by changing this slightly.


    While something needs to be done about people spamming their highest damage ability (wrecking blow spammers), I don't know of a good way to combat that at this time so leave it for another day to work on.

    wouldn't it of been easier to put us back to the original 1-5-1 magick health stamina ration we had before ? this would of increased TTK. Zenimax seems to be trying to do something im not sure they know what it is yet.

    if zenimax does not consider our feed back like you said then why did this thread get created?
    i will agree they do not play thier own game, and from my end of the game i love all the changes they made so far in the new build.

    except you forget that penetration is now nerfed, so you wouldnt be able to hit that live. The dmg nerf has made everyone stack dmg and damage mitigation rather than come out with a balanced build for survivability and dmg. They either needed to nerf penetration or nerf overall dmg, not both.

    I talked to someone I dueled, and I hit them for 8k anyways. If we revert the changes, what we will end up with is a lower TTK than before. I agree they should look at their numbers at ZOS for the mitigation and other forms of perma-defense, but overall, I think pvp is in a much better place now than in 1.6.

    I agree, i like this new pvp better. Ofc, they need to fix the mitigation problems and imo buff Magicka DKs and Magicka Templars. Both ultra defensive work, both with stamina build work, but what about the more balanced magicka builds? They are mostly crap compared to NBs and Sorcs.

    The TTK is perfect as it is. People still die. The difference is that you need to use your brain to do it. (Yeah it's hard for most of the cry babies posting over here).

    Agree, though, there are build that use buggs that are just over the top. Fix that, and we are good to go!

    Hopefully the day of insatjibing is gone not fun for a lot of people, TTK is closer to Blackwater Blade which most people seem to enjoy and is always a high point to most people posting about BWB.

    This is mmo combat and mmo's are not Call of Duty, or Battle field, players should have time to react and use the specials on their bars, I know biggest complainers will be stealthy ganking NB's that have been op for far to long a balance pass should have came out much sooner, so we would have not been used to the fast ttk, and changes are coming to animation canceling at some point as one of the animators pointed out on and ESO live. Takes more skill to fight a long fight than just a cheap one shot out of stealth. ZOS is just to slow to fix things in this game that are broken that effect the player base in a negative way, like the sharpened and penetration bug as one quick example. But after this goes in maybe ESO will no longer be the game for some. I play a NB myself, and I like the ttk find fun and more of a challenge, I found the instajibing play boring when I did it and just took no skill other than getting the timing down, I switched up and found a more fun way to play for me.

    Damage mitigation bug that I mentioned earlier is now fixed so most of the things you were mad about are now fixed.

    I agree to an extent. Revert the Stam cost for rolls and no regen on blocking. That's just stupid. Plenty of skills and ways to get around it. Oh and the 50% damage reduction. That's just *** why should a 1v1 last 10 years when you can't even regen well enough to keep a steady flow for long periods of time..

    My suggestion was to keep damage the same and give everyone 15% more hp on top of 5k in cyrodiil and make all shields scale off health nerf nirn by 10% and give a armor equivalent to nirn. problem solved imo
