    SNIP - YOUTUBE VIDEO

I think he means NOW on the PTS. Your video is from March.

I could be confused, but I think the issue here is how there is a global reduction in damage that seems to have hit everything harder than biting jabs which equates to a buff to Templar DPS.

They adjusted the resistance values on the PTS for NPCs even outside of Cyrodiil, so your video is no longer valid.

His point, right or wrong, I believe is that only templars are going to be able to achieve pre-2.1 levels of DPS.

That's the gist I got anyway.

    @Jolinius

i was on pts today, and my jabs do hit with LESS dmg than currently on live. (PvP wise)
I will go and check PvE now on pts , gimmi a few mins

IF jabs did hit A LOT harder, then pls tell me the secret how to

Don't worry if there's a bug it will be fixed and skill nerfed.

Jabs (or something affects Jabs) may be bugged on the PTS, but, as general advice to countering the ability:

Any form of Puncturing Strikes (unmorphed, Biting Jabs, Puncturing Sweep) is best countered by either an instant cast knockdown like Stonefist or rolling into the player casting it.

Stamina morph works fine on PTS good burst when you hit the target but hard to land, and ofcourse it gives free cc immunity to all enemys with first hit and stuns with lasthit...easy to avoid, channeled...

    i see no problem.

may the magica morph should be tested.

Alright i was about to reply to the video and now half the post is missing. That is a good sorc build and i respect your dps but under those exact circumstances i can see how it was easily done . If i only dps while i had overlaod up i would get around those same numbers on sorc. Same thing if i came at the last ten seconds and just started executing and then posted my dps report. Im talking about raw deeps .

Every time someone compares NB damage to Templar damage I laugh.

There should be a trade off for having increased survivability. If Templars produce the same damage as NB then why EVER roll a NB when after failing to kill someone NB's just melt? I'll just roll a templar....enjoy the same damage and then when I fail to kills someone go, "Oh well. no big deal...let me bubble up over here and go invincible myself"

The only reason why people spam it, is because it is literally the one ability we have every other ability just sucks.

If it is just a damge bug thats causing extra damage then its not so bad but they still get better dps than any other class just spamming one ability which makes angry on my other dps classes and on my stam templar dps makes me bored.

you can get the same dps with ANY other class..

I challenge you to get 28k single target sustained dps on a non daedra with a sorc or nb. And then post a video please.

here you go, 29k dps on bloodspawn (my friends char)

you can get 30k+ with any class on Bloodspawn, its only a question of what setup you use

    https://youtu.be/MhICiLSgp10

Using an ulti for an entire fight with lightning flood....really? that is your comparison to "any class" doing the same dps?

mDKs still need a lot of love!

Right, you also shouldn't have to block, or heal because you have been hit by an ability, if you do, that ability needs a nerf!

Well they don't want us just standing blocking :p

My biggest issue is that it staggers you even if you have CC immunity - that shouldn't happen. It is a little strong though, but not as bad as what some make it sound damage wise.

All 4 jabs or 1 jab?

Maybe it summarizes the dmg accidently now?

Exactly. they are fine stop Qq about jabs, jesus.. My tooltip on PTS says 760 magic dmg per jab, target infront me should get 140% increased dmg.. but it gets 1.2k dmg non crit.. so calculate it, is that 140%?? Its not, its already affected by Battle spirit nerf.. So please..

I'm really afraid of someone at zos believe those false claims.
I mean, seriously, skill is fine. It is not doing monstrous damage. It is affected by battle spirit and furthermore it is double affected by it, for the heal part.
Stamina morph is broken due to how armor penetration works. And all channelling skills such as jabs and beam going through mist form unmitigated.
It is all about bugs and bugs must be fixed. Period.

    No.

The stun lock still happens occasionally. Seems to be a rare interaction of lag/desync and the not exactly robust cc immunity system though, rather than something wrong with the skill itself.
