A: There will be plenty of updates to Cyrodiil as the game lives on. There are already plans for the first few patches!
you clearly have no clue what you are talking about, you should do a little research before making assumptions.
Imperial City an update being only partially PvP the 1st ever seen in ESO and it costs $25? Most of us played ESO for the PvP being promised PvP updates

After almost a year of subscription fees we have to pay to play the 1st new PvP content. The old PvP content is bugged and laggy and not yet fixed.
I could never force myself to pay that) even if I simply wanted to check it out. Who will pay for more of that or has something changed?

Before march we must pay every month 13€ to play the game.
Now we had ~6 months without paying 13€ every month to get full access to that game and pay again ~17€ (2500 crones) to get full access again. That's a good deal for us players!
~78 € vs ~ 17 €

If imperial city was released last year, could you play it without a subscription?
Just like then you can either get it for free with your subscription, or you can buy it for a onetime fee if you aren't subscribed
Nothing has changed except you having more options.
In other word quit whining

what changed is I wouldn't be paying an extra $25 to check out imperial city which was promised in the 1st few patches?, do you read at all?

1st 12 months sub $180 vs $205
I had a sub last year I wouldnt have had to pay an extra $25 for something promised (also would have gotten content months sooner, alot changes in the 2 scenarios)
Lol and No words.....

So it's better to pay subscription till 31.08.15? The subscription model will not change the date of the release.
1) It is free if you are subscribed.
2) You received 1000 crowns at ESO TU launch - so it will cost only 15 euros/dolars/pounds.
3) If you dont want to pay - just dont buy the dlc.
I can count to potato.

There are so many f2p games out there. You are free to go if you are not happy here.1) It is free if you are subscribed.

2500 crowns is 2500 crowns, thats the cost of Imperial City if your not subscribed.
Again a pvp update promised in the 1st few patches not after a year of paying the subscription fee.
This "go do something else if you don't like it" rationale needs to stop. We are not morally obliged to swallow everything we're fed and like it, just because we happen to enjoy the game. There are so many f2p games out there. I know, right?Rook_Master wrote: »If it was an entirely new zone, like Wrothgar, I would have no problem with it being DLC.
Adding an extension to an existing zone, the ONLY PvP zone, by the way, and putting it behind a paywall, is ridiculous. It will fracture the community, as well as raids.
What the hell am I supposed to tell people in my raid that didn't buy the DLC? Tough *** guys, drop group?
I can count to potato.

If you didn't buy all the pny and kty re-skins you prob have enough crowns sitting around still from un-subbing to just buy it (I do). I suppose the loyalty crowns were a gift or an apology, but either way they can be used to offset the cost of the content. This content was announced when the game was mandatory subscription based and their content objectives were more ambitious. They said all content past 1.6 would be store based, this is past 1.6, therefore it is store based. If you go back to your previous subscription commitment the content is inclusive, just as it was "PROMISED" originally, inclusive in a subscription.
If you are very upset about this just don't buy the content. You will still hit v16 grinding out old pvp and pve content and you can get v16 gear from scaled dungeons, cyrodiil or just buying the new stuff from other players. It isn't a very big content patch with just 2 dungeons, 1 pub dungeon some new armor skins and few motiffs. It is no Burning Crusades.

You haven't seen the gear stats so you don't know that, you are just spouting your worst fears. Even then they have already said anything you can buy from the PVP section of the update can be sold on a guild vendor so you can farm nirncrux till you can buy the gear with gold, or have a friend who can keep 20 bucks in their pocket get it for your whole guild and they can farm the gear for you and sell it to you on the cheap.
