Im Not Paying 20 Dollars For That

I'm not paying for it or subbing for it. ZOS gave me the crowns to get it free for having sub'ed, which at the time they were under no obligation to do.

I saved them knowing content was coming...so therefore IC is completely free to me based of the subscription I paid when the game was sub only.
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

I still have the crowns from converting to unlimited (b2p) and I'm not a pvp guy so I keep it a little more.

See, and thats what it ALL boils down to my friend.

Most of us see it worth $25. So its just your opinion that its worth $10 or $15.Not the way to world works im afraid....otherwise I would just walk into a store, tell them I think their plasma TV is worth $50, drop the cash and walk out.

The company/store can charge what they like, its up to the consumer if they want to buy it.

If not, dont buy it, no need to try and coerce us to feel the same way.

Most of us? So youre speaking for more then yourself? Who is 'most of us'? Most of the ESO community? Most of the trolls that descended into this thread?

    http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/195758/25-for-ic-dlc-fair-or-overpriced/p1

Yes, as per the current poll, and everyone I know in game talking about it.

    Most = Majority

Majority has voted its a fair price...it would be safe to assume most think that way.....lol, you like to argue just for the fun of it eh?

Everyone I have talked to loves the price...

not sure what games you are playing that has entire area DLC's for less than $30.... Destiny($20 DLC for new dances...$20...for dances), gears of war (the SKINS for weapons were more than this dude) previous TES games....

I honestly dont see ANY problem with a $25 price tag
I have to agree. $25 is pretty good for a DLC. Now we'll have to see if it's more than a cosmetic nothing.

Wasn't dawnguard like 20 dollars and added like 2 hours of content? The 2500 crowns seems about right. Heck, Hearthfire was like 6 bucks and added 3 stupid houses that did nothing but glitch out (I don't regret purchasing either btw). This DLC is surprisingly less than I thought it would be.

Hey! No Skyrim hating! (We've got other forums for that  ).

Dawnguard added a heck of a lot more than 2 hours (more like 40 hours). Dragonborn added another 40 hours. Hearthfire added at least another 40 hours (but that was because you had to grind for all the materials!). I figure $40 for an additional 100 odd hours was worth it.

I hope this one is the same, although, since I'm afraid of Cyrodil, PvP and MMO, it might be pretty pointless for me.

$20 is nothing today. Think of all of the stuff you pay for that is a want not a need. Until then go whine somewhere else.

Gonna wait until there is a sale on it.

~$18 for IC is not worth it, imo. I still have my ESO Plus sub until December, but I'm hoping for a sale by that time so I can purchase it for a discounted price. But, I agree...

PC players that have had the game for over a year now should have received this at a discounted price. We've paid over $200 with our subs at this point and only Craglorn and Upper Craglorn were the only notable DLC that came out of it. It's absurd to have us pay even more for the Imperial City update like everyone else when we already spent so much on the game. You'd think the people who were playing the game for over a year now and supported it would get, you know, some leeway for at least one or two DLC packs?

The full Imperial City DLC game pack is included with an active ESO Plus membership. If you are not an ESO Plus member, or your membership lapses, the Imperial City DLC game pack costs 2,500 crowns in the ESOTU Crown Store.

    A quote from the OP

"Tel Var Stone System. Essentially another currency that is completely unnecessary and one that can be completely robbed from you at any moment."

This is something being discussed here!

The TV Stone system whereby they can be looted from you is a terrible decision on ZOS part the game is no where near balanced enough to allow this in it's current / near future state.

The CP system is just an extension of this problem ;)

You don't OWN the content, once again.
You RENT access to the DLC as an ESO Plus member. Once your subscription ends, your access to the DLC is gone too unless you purchase it with Crowns separately, which is less money wasted if you go with the 5,500 Crown Pack (11,000 Crowns for ~$80) than the 9,000 Crowns you get for the ~80.00 6-Month Sub.

Can you link where it says that. I completely disagree with that unless you can provide an offcial source. I dont not recall ZoS ever stating that you rent the DLC. that makes zero sense. you are still paying for it just at a discounted price.

It doesn't sound like you're getting a lot for $25 but that's just my opinion. Then again, I'm probably part of the minority as plenty of people shelled out how many crowns for a Frozen Horsie? :D

That being said, I won't be buying it but that's okay as there is still plenty for me to do in the game now.

lets break it down. for $25 you get small scale pvp fighting. 23 new armor sets, 2 more 4-man dungeons (normal and vet), motifs, 6 districts, a public dungeon, TV stone system, vaults, collectibles, and 500 crowns.

    seems pretty solid.
