I have to agree. $25 is pretty good for a DLC. Now we'll have to see if it's more than a cosmetic nothing.Korah_Eaglecry wrote: »Because I see the DLC being worth closer to 15 bucks tops.h
See, and thats what it ALL boils down to my friend.
Most of us see it worth $25. So its just your opinion that its worth $10 or $15.Not the way to world works im afraid....otherwise I would just walk into a store, tell them I think their plasma TV is worth $50, drop the cash and walk out.
The company/store can charge what they like, its up to the consumer if they want to buy it.
If not, dont buy it, no need to try and coerce us to feel the same way.
Most of us? So youre speaking for more then yourself? Who is 'most of us'? Most of the ESO community? Most of the trolls that descended into this thread?

Yes, as per the current poll, and everyone I know in game talking about it.
Most = Majority
Majority has voted its a fair price...it would be safe to assume most think that way.....lol, you like to argue just for the fun of it eh?
Everyone I have talked to loves the price...
not sure what games you are playing that has entire area DLC's for less than $30.... Destiny($20 DLC for new dances...$20...for dances), gears of war (the SKINS for weapons were more than this dude) previous TES games....
I honestly dont see ANY problem with a $25 price tag
Wasn't dawnguard like 20 dollars and added like 2 hours of content? The 2500 crowns seems about right. Heck, Hearthfire was like 6 bucks and added 3 stupid houses that did nothing but glitch out (I don't regret purchasing either btw). This DLC is surprisingly less than I thought it would be.
Gonna wait until there is a sale on it.
~$18 for IC is not worth it, imo. I still have my ESO Plus sub until December, but I'm hoping for a sale by that time so I can purchase it for a discounted price. But, I agree...
PC players that have had the game for over a year now should have received this at a discounted price. We've paid over $200 with our subs at this point and only Craglorn and Upper Craglorn were the only notable DLC that came out of it. It's absurd to have us pay even more for the Imperial City update like everyone else when we already spent so much on the game. You'd think the people who were playing the game for over a year now and supported it would get, you know, some leeway for at least one or two DLC packs?
Hmm, it will be funny as *** when you're all crying on the forums cause you just got ganked and lost all your hard earned TV Stones to someone with no skill who has grind CP in Cracked Wood, constantly

surely that will be a problem with the cp system then and not really what is being discussed here.

IF you have the sub its free.
Price
The full Imperial City DLC game pack is included with an active ESO Plus membership. If you are not an ESO Plus member, or your membership lapses, the Imperial City DLC game pack costs 2,500 crowns in the ESOTU Crown Store.
Psychobunni wrote: »I'm not paying for it or subbing for it. ZOS gave me the crowns to get it free for having sub'ed, which at the time they were under no obligation to do.
I saved them knowing content was coming...so therefore IC is completely free to me based of the subscription I paid when the game was sub only.
Gonna wait until there is a sale on it.

No, that's not how it works. Read this quote from ZeniMax:Price

Can you explain that a bit for us console users?

You can always go grind it out in non-vet where a little birdy told me there will be disabling CP

You cannot grind CP in non vet!
CP is a veteran lvl progression system and can only be earned on a vet level character.

I think yu just ruined your own argument. The previous post says it is free with paying a sub. what you quoted said if you are NOT subbed you pay. im confused. if you are subbed you dont pay the crowns bottom line

You don't OWN the content, once again.
You RENT access to the DLC as an ESO Plus member. Once your subscription ends, your access to the DLC is gone too unless you purchase it with Crowns separately, which is less money wasted if you go with the 5,500 Crown Pack (11,000 Crowns for ~$80) than the 9,000 Crowns you get for the ~80.00 6-Month Sub.

no im talking about the TV. not Cp. if people are worried about being ganked by someone with a butt load of champ points that is.

"While you’re a member, you’ll enjoy faster progression thanks to the helpful buffs to XP, gold, and crafting, and you’ll be able to access any DLC game pack that’s available. If your membership ends, you’ll still be able to play ESO (and keep any items and rewards you earned playing within DLC), but you won’t be able to access DLC game pack content that you haven’t purchased separately."
It doesn't sound like you're getting a lot for $25 but that's just my opinion. Then again, I'm probably part of the minority as plenty of people shelled out how many crowns for a Frozen Horsie?
That being said, I won't be buying it but that's okay as there is still plenty for me to do in the game now.

What did they do?
As PC players had the game longer and spent more on their subs before the game went B2P, ZeniMax went ahead and gave everyone a specified amount of Crowns to make up for the money we spent on the game.
Psychobunni did the smart thing and saved her Crowns from that and hasn't purchased any or renewed her sub since. owo
