Yeah, thats fair. i mean i had people saying the same thing to me, when i bitched about Destiny DLC at $40.

Guess I was just saying in comparison to most games, $25 is a good deal. (and considering $20 is the standard DLC price these days, whats an extra $5?)

Because I see the DLC being worth closer to 15 bucks tops. As I already posted. So for me its not 5 extra bucks its twice that. And I know there are plenty of people out there that have plenty of money to throw around but even something as small as 25 bucks has to fit into my budget month to month.

Most of us see it worth $25. So its just your opinion that its worth $10 or $15.Not the way to world works im afraid....otherwise I would just walk into a store, tell them I think their plasma TV is worth $50, drop the cash and walk out.

The company/store can charge what they like, its up to the consumer if they want to buy it.

If not, dont buy it, no need to try and coerce us to feel the same way.

I dont even know how you could possibly come to the conclusion that a comparison between buying a DLC to a video game is the same as buying a plasma tv. If I were to take your comparison seriously it would be as if I was asking ZOS to drop it down to pennies. Which Im not. Im not even asking them to do anything with the price. Simply sharing my opinion that its not worth 20 bucks and I wont be buying because of that. There is no haggling going on here. So Im not sure how you came to that conclusion.

Youre right. It is up to the consumer if they want to buy it or not. Being that I am a consumer, buying this game twice, paying for months of sub prior to B2P and buying the Imperial Edition add-on to my PS4 version. I think I very well fall into that category and have a right, as a consumer, to share my opinion with ZOS about what I think of their plans with this expansion.

I never attempted to 'coerce' anyone. Again...Not sure where youre getting all of this. Im free to express myself here and share my opinion on the topic here on these forums. Thats what they are for. How many times a month do you go out to eat with your SO? Last time I checked it's between $20-$25 for a typical sit-down meal in a decent restaurant, even more if you go fancy (and I live in the midwest). I mean, seriously, compare the cost of the expansion to anything else you do for entertainment on an hour-for-hour comparison and you can't see anything but "good deal".
Maybe games like WoW or CoD and other money-printers can barf out a $15 expansion or map-pack with "more content". You must not comprehend basic economics if you think a smaller customer base can support similar amounts of content at the same price as a larger customer base. Would I like to pay less? Sure, but I don't want to play WoW or CoD.

Reading over the info about IC, I can't blame ya for not buying it. Nothing about it seems appealing enough to sink that much money into. That's just my opinion, though. A couple new dungeons sounds great, but other than that nothing about it interests me. When the next DLC comes around, I'd be fine with throwing $25 at it, IF it contains content that appeals to me. That's the nice thing about it, though. If you want the content package, buy it. If you don't want it, don't buy it. You can still play the game either way.

I dont know what WoW and CoD have to do with this? WoW provides full expansions and asks for the same price as the box edition costs. And CoD is a FPS that capitalizes on its popularity to sell the same game with a reskin every year to the same playerbase.

How small do you think the community is? Do you have the numbers? I bet you dont. So this is another moot point.

The same rules that rule cyrodill currently will rule the IPC.

I can't wait to see all these bankers cry when Havoc, Chuck Norris, Decibel run them over with the pain train that will be easier then ever in the IPC...40+ spamming AOE in small places = you dead...the pain trains will get an upgrade with this content.

Tel Var Stone System. Essentially another currency that is completely unnecessary and one that can be completely robbed from you at any moment. Im not buying this expansion.

First, i would have to disagree on the price. I think it is fair. Bu that is just my opinion. (im subbed anyway). Second, I think the new currency is a great idea. Now people can not hoard their AP for the next month and a half and get all the best gear right away. This puts all players on the same level and allows new players the same opportunities to get the gear at the same rate. Third, i think we need to test the new system for getting them taken away when dead. On the one hand, it gives consequences for death. On the other, it could really hurt the progression for certain players. That said, I wonder if their are places such as the 4-man dungeons where you can earn them and not worry about being beat down for them. I think bfore we judge it we should test it and see how it operates. ALso, i think this will sloww down gankers. Think about it. This is close quarters combat where it will be hard to run away and easier to aoe down NB. This seems like it will be an active area on top of that. So, a solo ganker will be more at a disadvantage. I think this is great because it will allow groups of 6-12 to flourish and introduces small scale pvp.

I dont see the problem, origially you were suppose to have a sub fee to support the game. If you still pay the sub fee you will have access. SO just look at it like you dont have to pay a sub fee to have the old part of the game...

Wasn't dawnguard like 20 dollars and added like 2 hours of content? The 2500 crowns seems about right. Heck, Hearthfire was like 6 bucks and added 3 stupid houses that did nothing but glitch out (I don't regret purchasing either btw). This DLC is surprisingly less than I thought it would be.
