I didn't vote, because I don't know what to think about this. I have one vr character and she is only v8.
My highest level character is a VR2, so the change also benefits me.
I just don't care for liars.

I would have them actually keep their word.
I know ... a novel concept in this brave new age, when peoples' words are meaningless. Call me old-fashioned.
I reiterate: I don't care for liars.

And the xp buffs lighten the blow some.
If that's what they said then it's BS. Why would they need to add levels to add content? Why couldn't they just add it in at VR14? Never heard anything so ridiculous from an MMO dev.
"Long term goal is still to remove veteran ranks, but it is intimately tied with gear progression currently. This allows them to release more content without the delay on full re-itemization."
I don't know the details, but this was the reason provided I believe, it's a 2cnd party paraphrase from yesterday's ESO live. I believe it basically means they want to introduce new gear with the new content, and the time it would take to itemize all the new gear as well as all the existing gear in order for it to match a vet system restructure, would delay the release of new content even further.

People on forums always seem to be under the impression that they are the majority of the player base. If thar were true then there would be thousands of no votes.
Fact is, most forum posters are a very minor depiction of the player base and seem to feel entitled like they have any say in any matter and then cry when they don't get their way.
If you don't like the game then find another, it makes no difference what your opinion is, there are thousands playing right now who think otherwise.
