Things I'd like to see in the future

aConsoleCouple
Here are some things I'd like to see in the future for Elder Scrolls Online. If you have anything you'd like or simply agree with any of these let me know below. ^^

1.) A first person mode when mounted

2.) A tailoring perk within the clothing skill line which allows you to make standard clothing, this clothing could then be enchanted. ( Also curtains and such things when player housing is in the game )

3.) A fishing Skill line.

4.) A hunting Skill line. ( Fishing Skill line could be in with this )

5.) The ability to plant and grow your own alchemy ingredients and provisioning ingredients and another skill line for this. ( farming? )

6.) A hide shoulders option ( sometimes the shoulder armour can be super big or ugly lol )

7.) Bundles in the Crown store than Contain 1 mount, 1 costume and 1 pet together for a good price.

8.) A Unicorn mount ( I loved my Unicorn in Oblivion  )

9.) Jewellery Crafting and Spell Crafting ( I believe these are already being looked into by ZoS )

10.) Followers. ( Now although followers that would fight at your side would be cool and maybe one day we'll see them, I'm more thinking of a follower that would be a non combatant like your pet but would offer other things. Like a Bard follower who would follow you and play your favourite ballads, a cook who would follow you and every so often will give you an item of food or drink to your level to help you out.)

A Captain [edit] Amulet that puts your enemy in a very distressed mood and debuffs their damage on you by 10%.

But really, first person mount is something Ive been wanting for weeks. Id also like more in depth quest mechanics. Currently its a long standing joke between friends that when we start to a quest we go "blah blah blah goodbye" as it rarely matters what we end up doing as far as dialogue. Makes quests pretty stale after a while.

@FlounderOG I enjoy the side quests, the thing I'd enjoy more is if they moved the dialogue box to the bottom of the screen, move the character to the centre and zoom in a little more on them like other Elder Scrolls Games. Because although I love the game I find most of the time my attention is drawn the the writing on the right rather than the person talking, I find that very immersion breaking personally.

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

Nice to see that the things I want other people want too! And yes I like numbers too haha.

Your idea for 7 would be great. ZoS put so many mounts, pets and costumes up and you can pick 1 from each. :)

Here are some things I'd like to see in the future for Elder Scrolls Online. If you have anything you'd like or simply agree with any of these let me know below. ^^

1.) A first person mode when mounted Yes, please. Also, horse-based weapon combat, anyone (think: Zelda)?

2.) A tailoring perk within the clothing skill line which allows you to make standard clothing, this clothing could then be enchanted. ( Also curtains and such things when player housing is in the game ) Ehhh...I'd rather ZeniMax just work on making more costumes for the Crown Store for such things and add in Standard Clothing outfits you can steal from NPC houses and what not.

3.) A fishing Skill line. Trying to think hard about what type of skills a Fisherman could benefit from for the entirety of the game itself, but I can't unfortunately. I like to fish too, and I do wish it was expanded upon into an actual Craft, but it makes sense in it being an extra activity you can choose to do or not without it really affecting gameplay. I'd prefer ZeniMax letting the player know what type of water source bait is best in within the bait's description, though.

4.) A hunting Skill line. Fighter's Guild, so it's already been done.

5.) The ability to plant and grow your own alchemy ingredients and provisioning ingredients and another skill line for this. (farming?) I think people would need to ask for player housing before this. o.o

6.) A hide shoulders option ( sometimes the shoulder armour can be super big or ugly lol ) I think it would be less of an issue if we could have the chance to wear Capes for aesthetic purposes. Haha.

7.) Bundles in the Crown store than Contain 1 mount, 1 costume and 1 pet together for a good price. Ooooh! I like that idea. :)

8.) A Unicorn mount ( I loved my Unicorn in Oblivion  ) I'm still hoping for a Dragon mount sometime in the distant future, meanwhile, as well as other flying mounts. (I know it is 99.9% likely it won't ever happen, but it's good to fantasize.) o3o

9.) Jewellery Crafting and Spell Crafting ( I believe these are already being looked into by ZoS ) Yeah. Haven't heard about it in a while, so I'm wondering if they'll touch on their progress with Spellcrafting implementation soon.

    In all, I think:
    - Blacksmithing: Add Jewelry as an option to craft. Minerals for them can be rare to come by.
    - Clothing: Add Hoods for Light Armor that are a separate viable alternative to Hats.
    - Woodworking: Add Spears and Crossbows as craftable weapon choices.

10.) Followers. Anything but the Adoring Fan, please.

@Korozenn Well they already have a cross bow model with the fighters guild ability so that'd be cool, and yes please NO adoring fan. lol

Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

It's got nothing to do with Runescape you can grow your own things in Skyrim at the side of your house. lol

    I like your ideas especially #'s 2,3 & 9

What I would like is housing, and having the crafting professions make things to decorate your house with, such as beds/tables/etc.

    My thoughts on your suggestions.
    1. I actually prefer it as is, stays consistent to Elder Scrolls games

    2. While I like this idea it is doubtful it will happen, with current enchantments it is less useful, if we could see crafting enchantments added it would make a lot of sense, but think too many players would cry foul that someone could make a bettet item through this. Same with if they added merchant specific enchantments.

    3. and 4. Like this, but would need to improve assortment of foods available from game drops

    5. Loved this in Skyrim, hopefully added if they add player housing options. As well as personal crafting stations, and would like to see personal sets options in these. Would love to have more then cookie cutter gear

    6. That could be cool

    7. Could work, maybe make it random so you could end up witj interesting options. Like say a Jestet riding a guar with a fox pet.

    8. Absolutely, and more unique options. Know I will get flack for this, but imagine a Vampire player with a rideable Werewolf

    9.Yes please

    10. Do miss the followers in Skyrim, but in an MMO with so many players, pets, summoned creatures and NPCs, this could be very problematic

Would like to add one too.
    11. Epic solo dungeons, like the massive 3 layered dungeons in previous single player games. They were a loot smorgasbord, offered a good challange to accomplish alone, and just a lot of fun. Don't make it required, but as an option with a unique item at the end slightly higher stats then normal, not enough to be OP. Perhaps even an addable unique trait that can be added to gear on top of what is slotted. Like a once daily ability

#1 Expand the Kill Shot Cut Scenes (i.e. blade of woe mini cut scene) - Age of Conan had many of these and they were called "Fatalities" - under certain conditions when you killed an enemy you got the "Fatality" and they were super cool.

#2 Overhaul Racial Passives - how about, at character creation you are provided X number of points to spend on a variety of racial passives. You could pick and choose the ones you want and unspent points go to attribute points (health, stam, magika). The better/more powerful racial passives would cost more and the less significant ones would cost less.

Example: -50% damage from lava might cost 4 passive points, but +10% crit chance might cost 15 points... etc.
(note* Shadowbane had this system and it was super awesome.) This system would allow you to add or subtract racial passives to the game.... and be more balanced across all races. Perhaps some of the passives could be locked or unlocked in certain ways.

#3 Random Rotating Special Events - add special super-size encounters that spawn all across Tamriel and require multiple raid groups to complete.... Once per week? Bring life to older zones... Bigger than World Boss and Bigger that Portals. Perhaps an event that would require raid groups from each alliance to participate in different ways... (like the ESO preview trailer).

#4 Dungeon Tokens - when you complete a dungeon you get tokens (like the Undaunted Keys) the tokens go to a specific vendor where you can purchase the armor/weapon of your choice (i.e. no more RNG). Prices can be adjusted for difficulty or rarity, etc. (yes, Guild Wars 2 has this feature). Knowing that I can get more tokens and buy what I want, allows me to experiment more without worry over RNG. Keeps the flow of dungeon runs and buying/spending, etc.

#5 Preview Armor - add ability to preview armor/weapons when crafting or browsing vendors (i.e. similar to when dye armor). The current image of the armor/weapons at crafting table is so tiny.... (when I die in Cyridil, I need to die in most up to date fashion possible)

    #6 Hide Armor Options
    - add options to hide shoulders, gloves, chest

#7 Convert Armor Option - add option to convert set piece armor to another style (like the convert to Imperial style). So when I wear mismatched armor pieces, they can all look great in the same style.

    Thanks for a great game!!!!
