The trinity of roles definitely exists in ESO, but it's not rigidly defined either. In ESO if your healer isn't contributing to damage in addition to healing, then you're going to have trouble. The same goes for the tank - he needs to be able to do some damage in addition to taunting and doing crowd control.Stories-Bones-Tell wrote: »Bounced around a few MMOs on PC, havent touched on in a long while but decided to try TESO when it came to PS4. Seen healers who thought their job was to do damage, tanks in medium armor who laughed at the idea of using a shield, guys who think have no concept of loot generation and so on.

Yeah you can run a nightblade healer. Why?
I say why not.
Have fun. Its not a job. Its a game. Try fishing. Its a tension reliever.

I have found all of this games PvE, including the solo quest lines to be laughable, it makes me sad to think how easy it is, takes the fun out of it. I hope there is some actual challenge to the next PvE content.

No we arn't ignorant of TES, but this isn't your run of the mill TES game, its a MMO, which plays a lot differently. Its has the trinity, thus players have to get used to it and play it.
