Same here usually, but this morning (central time) I was hitting pings of 350 and higher in Grahtwood (capital) and still over 500 in Cyrodil.

And ya, they did announce another incremental patch to "fix things" (of course no specifics) for this coming Monday (PC).

You know it been so long since daoc release I dont remember many problems with the servers and at that time it was a huge release on the other hand wow was so bad it was lagged out so bad .I thought rift had a decent launch also. Even pc eso was decent just had a lot of bugged quests etc..

There were alot of bots in eso when it when live but they took care of that fast imagine if they fixed the game as fast!

The problem is with Zenimax. A law firm, trying to act like a game developer. This game got horrible reviews for PC. That's why they dropped the subscription. They're trying to save their game.

This game is a mess.

No... it's... pretty much fact. It's certainly not a GOOD thing- nor am I defending it, but, it's not like people are... you know... imagining it with every MMO launch...

I don't know what the hell MMO's you are playing, because, every AAA MMO in recent memory going back to Vanguard has had queues...

In fact, I remember the queues for Warhammer and SWTOR being particularly pissy.

Just think 50 people trying to squeeze through a doorway at the same time and you'll have an idea of why we have these issues...
If we had state mandated fiber optic in every household like S. Korea (where gamers are rockstars) launches would't be dreaded affairs, as it stands we have dial-up, cable, wireless, satellite, DSL, T1-T3, etc etc etc

Well, obviously you weren't there for the launch. FFXIV had queue's on the original launch and the ARR re launch. I never played DCOU, so no idea. But pretty much every AAA MMO since EQ has had a queue at launch. Get over yourself.

As a fellow console player and also a person that played the PC version since PC Beta I understand the frustration and the feeling of being ripped off. However, this is a MMO launch and on 2 Different platforms. I am not defending or giving excuses for ZOS, but at the same time this is a MMO launch and unlike other games, this stuff does happen.

Again, not making excuses, I mean I worked an early shift on Monday to be home at midnight and could not play at all due to issues. I had taken Tuesday as a day off to play and did not get to play much at all and was off on Wednesday and did not get a lot of time due to crashes and then having to wait to log in. So I know how frustrating and this is in addition to suffering what many of us on PC have gone through when the game launched.

My advice, chill out and relax. They will get things sorted out. In a perfect world, we could buy a game and it worked, but that does not happen this day and age, especially for a MMO.

The game is not a mess. It is actually quite the opposite, which is why it is unfortunate that some people are having problems. The problems will be sorted out and resolved, and many already have been. This is not nearly as bad as the PC/Mac launch, and even that one was not the worst MMO launch.

Just for the record, I would not under any circumstances consider these numbers to be anywhere even remotely close to being in the same neighborhood as accurate. This is why they will be fixing them as soon as they can release a patch, which will probably be in 1 to 2 weeks.

That's EVERY MMO- I remember it took FOOOOREEEEEEEEEEVER to do the quests in Aion for the first several days because you could NEVER find anything you needed.

So WOW you only played on low pop servers. 35 years really not one que? How about issues with EQ or how about AC? Never really? Oh and yesterday didn't look at all like a ddos attack? Really? Man I must be way to old at 60 61 July 27th ( I accept game time) because I must be senile, never really?
