How to Redeem your PS4/XBox Transfer Code

Go to Account -> Billing History (under account summary)

At the bottom you should have a date of purchase for your account copy and a code. Use without the dashs' '-'

ESOTU for PS4 with account copy
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

A few people have said that not all codes are working, probably as Sony are slowly moving down the list validating them all. However a lot of people and myself have found it to be working. So just keep trying every 10mins or so and we'll see you in game shortly!

Some more people have found that their code is the wrong size, if this is the case the code that you're seeing is simply a placeholder. Again, just keep trying every 10mins until you see your code change to a length that works.

This was posted on reddit and ZoS gave a little disclaimer for it:

Hey folks, if you log into your ESOTU account page and see a game code, please be aware it may not be active yet. This will result in an error when you attempt to enter it into the Xbox or PlayStation account system. If you encounter this, please wait. We will send an email this afternoon when all codes are active.

So it might not work yet, but there's no harm in trying.

There are two codes, on the left is your order number (you don't need this here), then you'll have a purchase date, and then you will have your game code. It should say 'ESOTU for PS4 with account copy XXXX-XXXX-XXXX' the X's are your code.

I do have this, and its still way longer than 12 characters. It's an imperial edition account so that may be the issue. I've tried using the first 12 and then using the last 12 as well, nothing seems to work.

Well i've actually purchased both, but i have a 25 digit one for xbox and 20 for ps4. I'm going to assume my code is a placeholder and that they are being activated in the order received. I ordered the ps4 transfer on the last day it was available, so that could make sense as to why mine is not showing a legitimate code yet.

CONFIRMED: If you cannot use your code it is a placeholder, I have a valid Xbox code now after refreshing my page. My ps4 code will change over soon I'm sure.

If you do not see your code do not worry it will be with you shortly.

Thanks. Pre-loading now on PS4 in Europe. Always slow downloads here on PSN during the day though, but will usually pick up a lot of speed after midnight (I'm on 100 Mbit, usually getting around half that speed from PSN downloads in the middle of the night, more like 10-20% or less during the day).

Good stuff...I wonder if the can happen for Xbox codes. So far no replies as such.

It would suck if the Xbox code has been available for days prior
Either way I'll be done before midnight with my D/L speed

I also see everything except for ESO Plus as add-ons.
I think someone suggested it'd be an app on Xbox vs an add-on

I'll look for that tonight


Edit: or there will be option 1 buy crowns and option 2 buy ESO plus with X amount of crowns
