That's nice and all, but sea serpents can be used only at sea and ESO doesn't have any water content.
Or why not do some of the amazing mounts in Elder Scrolls Lore.
The Maormer practice a powerful form of snake magic, and with this they have tamed the sea serpents of their island for use as steeds and warbeasts.[1] These sea serpents serve as King Orgnum's guards and occasional mounts.

As much as I like lore-friendly stuff, I also like cool stuff. This is cool. The coolness outweighs the need for lore-friendliness. You also have to remember that at a certain point, it's a videogame.
Besides, you shouldn't underestimate the ability of people to make things fit within any given videogame lore. As the leader of one of ESO's oldest RP guilds, I should know.

Honestly why do they come up with this stuff when all I want is more clothes and a camel!

I find it more interesting the riding skill upgrades only granting 1 skill upgrade and not the max amount... like you have to buy 180 riding skill upgrades via the crown store... WTF!?
