Population inbalances in Azura

The native population (of the dominating faction) of a buff campaign deserves every bit of ill treatment (within game rules) that they receive.

From being farmed to gankings to teabaggings, it's all fair game and well earned. This goes to any faction that 'owns' a buff campaign.

I feel not the slightest remorse.

Telel would agree with such a statement, if more of those who use it as an excuse to kill helpless players stuck around when more skilled opponents showed up.

Sadly when the fight is no longer entirely on their side most 'liberators' react like Telel does when told to fight like a man.

For the ones with the Khajiit bits to show up on an over run server and make the long slog uphill you have this one's respect. But the fair weather sorts are just making Telel look brave in comparison.

Please do not make Telel look brave in comparison. It is bad for their image.

Incidentally Azura's is mostly EP's right now, and Khajiit could make very little headway despite hours of effort. That makes them the dominating faction on the server.

Actually I think it speaks more to the lethargy and incompetence on the part of the AD defenders. At the height of population on Azura's last night it was locked AD vs 3 bars EP and 2 bars DC.

With those population numbers, AD was dethroned and lost multiple scrolls. The only reason they didn't lose their home scrolls was due to lack of interest in pushing keeps with no defenders in them and lack of desire to plod across the map with the things.

EP did everything in its power to instigate and provoke, to get the AD players out to defend and aside from a few instances around Faregyl (one point at the farm where there was a sea of AD extending from the resource to the keep wall) there was little defense offered and precious little organization.

I'm sure some trial focused guild will flip the map at 3am as usual or one of the blob guilds will zerg it flat while EP is busy. It's what they always do.

But when we're, literally, running circles around Faregyl with a scroll, that's not running from anything.

While Telel is fond of finding good excuse they generally only do so when people ask silly questions like 'why are you in my bedroom, and is that a dead body?'.

So when Khajiit explains that a good number of that population bar is in fact not even fighting, and is in fact keeping those who wish to PVP from doing so then they are likely trying to make an important point.

That point is possibly, please go murder the ones making Telel's life harder but could also be an attempt to sell you some jewlery that needs to find a new owner very quickly.

Or maybe they're just being sociable. It is far better than getting bristle whiskered over whom murdered who after all.

First off, way to go AD for bringing 3 bars of pop to deal with a group of 20. I really do take that as a complement.

But jeez ZOS, you think you could do something to help the DC out? We're freaking outnumbered 5:1 on every server it seems.

Way to go AD, you won Azura this time. LOL

Last night was Poplocked EP & DC on Chillrend.

    2 Bars AD, then 1.

Maybe some of the DC & EP on Chill should go over to Azura?

    Oh, I understand the point.

The inability of AD to get their PUGs either to help fight, or get out of the campaign to let the queue bring in more people isn't my problem.

If they insist on not PVPing in spite of calls for aid, losing their precious buffs, etc, then they will have their lovely bonuses removed from them and the ones who need help most will get farmed and taken advantage of.

Don't blame us, look to your unhelpful alliance mates. I'm sure a full four bar population could summon enough of a zerg to swarm the enemy populations right back off the server, if they either cared or weren't intentionally avoiding us at all costs.

There's nothing glamorous or glitzy about what we did last night. It was butcher's work, but butcher's work pays the bills.

As I said earlier, there's no remorse or pity for those that infest what they believe to be a buff campaign or those who actively try to maintain one through night capping.

FENGRUSH is not saying that guild makes up most of the pop. But why is anyone from your guild saying people need to go to Azuras when theres already 2-3bar AD pop vs <1 bar pop of opposition with a keep or two? Its not for competition.

Those people FENGRUSH named are known as misfits members. You should expect your guild to be held accountable for the actions of its members.

Telel would just like to say something real quick in regards to the AD population on Azura's over the last week.

While some of you may be seeing two or even three bars this one regreats to humbly inform you that most of that population are PVE leechers coming from other servers to hide in delves and farm dolmens. They only come out into Cyrodiil when it's time to whine about how 'mean' other players went into 'their' CP grinds and killed them.

Just this morning it took Telel the better part of an hour, and resorting to forming a Duck herd with open access to this one's personal team speak server, just to get enough people to retake Faregyl from four defenders. Understand that for this one to do such a thing the situation must be intensely dire. Far more dire than Telel merely needing more warm bodies to hide behind as they attempt to out run a bat spamming emperor.

Incidentally, they never did find enough bodies for that. But someday....

At our peak, before we decided it wasn't worth continuing we had maybe a dozen, most of whom had barely begun to learn how to PVP and even fewer with adequate gear or skill setups. It was also the only group running, and accounted for all but 2 of the people PVPing on Azura's then.

Sadly khajiit derped on setting up their twitch feed so you can not actually see any of this. Fortunately everything Telel says is more humble and funnier than the unpleasantness of others.

    On a separate note

This one will also humbly point out that people who go to a server purely for the purpose of killing new players for AP and LOLs instead of trying for a win do not in fact deserve a sporting chance. If you're the type of silly man or mer who thinks sitting in a barn with a scroll and killing newbs is 'good action', only to flee the moment the odds aren't in your favor, then this one hopes your happy places become infested with slaughterfish eggs.

Very big slaughterfish eggs of a notoriously angry breed.

Sorry, this just isnt true. FENGRUSH has taken time from his day occasionally to punish the PVErs in delves. Making the rounds and ensuring to visit each one - even staying at cracked wood as a guardian for an hour or so. The most activity FENGRUSH could ever spot in a lap around Cyrodiil (Azura) was 9 players.

Theres only 2 delves that FENGRUSH could ever find AD even willing to grind in. Cracked wood, and the one with the bugs nearest to their gates.

If it makes players feel better that theyre only 3 bar vs 1 bar and 'most of that population are PVE'ing, then you can continue that story. But its not even close to true - youre literally trying to account for more than a bar of pop inside delves. AD has dominant numbers and its not even close. The rare occasions it is close - AD sounds a horn in their multifaction guild to come effortlessly PVP on their 'home' server which is simply conceding to your competition.

But The Lord FENGRUSH only grows stronger by such natural imbalances. If the playing field ever tilts to even footing in a longer term scenario, AD will certainly flee from the imbalance caused by FENGRUSH and his legendary companions.

Actually the point was that some claiming to be fighting out numbered ad out matched are in fact not doing so. At least in the last few days.

That this is being used as demonstrations of 'being good' and the other guys as 'being bad' makes the entire matter more droopy tailed.

But then as khajiit has never made a claim of greatness then perhaps they simply do not comprehend how beating up wimps marks one as good at their things.

There were times that the AD's numbers did, indeed, make themselves known. Particularly at Faregyl farm, as I mentioned in a previous post. There were AD coming in waves that extended from the Farm flag all the way to the wall of the keep.

And, again, nowhere did I make a claim at greatness. I specifically stated it was anything but.

Short and simple: There's nothing amazing or great about it, but the AD infesting Azura's deserve every farm, every troll, and every wipe they receive. They get no sympathy, regardless of how bad they are (in fact, that makes it all the funnier).

Grats on the pvd work, it takes skill to show up on a mostly dead server (because you rage quit it, along with the heroic and legendary exploit squad) with 3 full groups and kick the ever living crap out of doors.
