I wouldn't mind seeing more classes either, but I would prefer to see more global skills added to the game. My hopes were that spell crafting would fill out a lot of the missing spell lines we're accustomed to seeing in an ES game.

Another thought is that since each class skill line is pretty independent of the other skill lines, they could always remix skill lines and give them new class names (balancing would of course be an issue and concern). But, it would be a way of adding more choices without really needing to 'create' new skill lines and abilities all together.

Bards I would want to see as glogal guild skill line, much like the current fighters/mages guild.

Could have a selection of different musical instrument as "special weapon" (another thing for woodworkers to craft! Lute, drums... flute I guess would be more something for metalworkers, though more on the jeweller side then blacksmithing...) and play song-based magical spells to support and buff your group, and maybe debuff (or perhaps even put to sleep) enemies that come in range? Same song per spell, but of course the music depending on the instrument used?

And maybe half the passives to increase their buff, and the other half some social stuff?

And then the bardic guild could offer special daily "quests" too... like, "play a tune in these five inns on five different home alliance maps" or something like that... no fighting, just a lot of running around playing music...

Once they fix the current classes so every class skill is something worth using at some stage, then I would like them to look at 'sub-classes.

But at the moment, too many Templar skills are just broken or worthless

This is a common mistake people make. But the truth is, the classes will never be "fixed" because droves of players will always have something "op" or "broken" to complain about. Aside from actual bugs that should be fixed, rather than viability being taken as imbalance, this has been proven throughout mmo history. So, if you want to wait on that, we will never see new skill lines.

I would like some NON magical classes.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

They should not remove Classes but make the Game more open for Builds other then full Tank/DD/Heal. I really like my Heal DK with his smaller Shields, Groupbuffs, CC and Stuff but he is still a Healer and playing it as a Supporter makes no Sense with just 4 Guys in a Dungeon.
If you had a Group of 5, you could choose between 3 DD or 2 DD and a Supporter that helps the Group a lot with Buffs, Heals etc. But with just a 4 Man Group, a mediocre DD that just can buff 1 DD to negate the lower DPS is useless.

Personally, I'd like to see classes removed altogether, or perhaps all mashed together. Consider if you could perform a questline to become a dragonknight, and add the skill lines like a world skill in the same manner as Legerdemain or Vampire. It would be more appropriate to the TES tradition, and it would make balance a lot easier. We have two bars and two ultimates available and that's it, and skill points make overloading abilities and passives a balancing act anyway.

Just saying that everything except classes (and racial passives, naturally) lean that way anyway.

In practice everyone would gravitate towards the same few restrictive builds. Potential is useless when it cannot be realised.

People say this, but that's not the way it plays out in other classless MMOs. There's more diversity in builds, not less, the more abilities you give people access to.

I'm in favor of no more new classes (or no more classes at all) and instead opening up all abilities (apart from having both vampire and WW at the same time) to everyone. Either that or make the classes equivalent in functionality. They should add new skill lines accessible to everyone, not new classes.
