Unfortunately there are a lot of AD who are hell bent on beating everyone into submission on Azuras. Some of them feel this is justice for being pushed back to our gates last campaign, and others don't care because they thoroughly enjoy gate camping other factions, as if it gives them some feeling of accomplishment.
I've tried talking with them and explaining it isn't healthy for PvP, but they don't care. As long as they are winning this campaign, that is all that matters to them.

hahaha this feels exactly like what EPs of Thornblade answered me.

It's way beyond time for sliding population locks.

Agreed.
Yeah I lost a lot of faith in the PvP community after that. Not that I had much to begin with, but, it's all but gone now. I mean it isn't even good AP farming at enemy gates...you give them a huge D tick for the very minimal amount of AP you get from diminishing returns...

Time and time and time and time and time again the PVP community of this game has shown that it is utterly incapable of policing itself. From the days of Auriel's Bow to Thornblade to Azura's Star it's been the same story.
Whether it's Pugs or Guilds themselves doing it, it's time for ZoS to take over and actively administrate this game instead of remaining so silently passive.
Just logged on and saw Azura's...it's noon and that campaign is 100% yellow.
Nice PVDoor guys
I was thinking maybe we could try NOT to beat this campaign into the ground...

Well, we had a few keeps before FENGRUSH retired last evening at 3AM. The AD left on that server cant help themselves fighting defenseless targets. That is likely why they crumble in mass to a handful of players.
What guild group is that Sarenvog and frogblast in? Dont understand why there is a full raid group to fight 1 bar DC last evening. Surely they cant believe theyre actually making decent AP?

Frogblast is TKO, Sarenvog was in TKO, not sure if he still is though.

Confirm, but Sarenvog is also in Misfitz, surprised you dont know that, its in your sig.
I'm not super upset about recent events cause the AP has been flowing like wine, but blame DC for what's happening? lmao, that's a joke. It's AD who brings their entire faction everywhere they go. I thought the whole point of everyone leaving Thorn was to spread out so there wasn't as much lag but nope, truth is AD was running away to find a place where they could do the exact same thing. If you're at poplock fighting one or two bars of enemies, maybe it's time to switch servers, instead of chasing down anyone who so much as touches a resource. If Decibel doesn't leave Azuras I think I'll lose a lot of respect for them.
For the nth time, we are leaving haha
But if you dont mind we asking, where did DC go? Thats the only hope for a good campaign. I hear Haderus. I like Haderus. Its nice.

You have lied to The Lord. Your respect has been stripped to levels almost as low as Agrippa after he lag repaired the last emperor keep with a zerg and denied any involvement before having a screenshot posted to prove the opposite.

BUT LORD. I IMPLORE YOU TO RECONSIDER.
I am defending a friends emperorship, not mine. It is only righteous that I defend, and we were never higher than 14. Fights were good.

Why do you choose to defend that type of emperorship rather than attempting to crown an emp on a server with equal numbers? Just seems like you're running from competition at this point.

Oh you mean like when we took most the keeps on chillrend, but decided to come back and defend a guildie?
Yea there was some fun fights, was fun all night all over the map. But to be clear, it was 2 bar vs 2 bar for about 20mins and the battles became pretty 1 sided for DC steamrolling.
Then AD groups swing in and play a numbers game again (as it is 95% of the time in azura). The emp group told FENGRUSH they 'were only 8 people' as well, and somehow they had no idea decibel was ever even there.
Even if DC crowned an emp, it would be flipped before noon tomorrow guaranteed. If AD doesnt take it overnight, Herpaderp runs with a solid 20man group to shamefully cruise through empty keeps every morning. So the whole 'defending an emperor' is a moot point - campaign is also already won for AD.
You guys say youre leaving, but then you just happen to show up to defend emperors with numbers advantage and an emp (mostly irrelevant in this case) but theyve got all the buffs going for you too. The fights were enjoyable, but dont pretend to be interested in giving a waning and underpopulated faction a fair shot at PvPing. Its a constant uphill battle on DC, but you went out of your way tonight to ensure that, and Lord FENGRUSH is disappointed in you.bchulettub17_ESO wrote: »I'm not super upset about recent events cause the AP has been flowing like wine, but blame DC for what's happening? lmao, that's a joke. Oh you mean like when we took most the keeps on chillrend, but decided to come back and defend a guildie?
At this point, pretty sure everyone is linked together by a series of guilds on the other factions. Ironically, the guildie you came to defend is in a different group that had no idea that your guild is even there. Apparently they were so used to sieging empty DC keeps that they didnt realize all of the DC left on the server were stuck fighting decibel and others down south.
But FENGRUSH would not say decibel is running from competition at all. It makes sense for them to come and hop in on defense for AP. But to say youve left the server (unless the server becomes contested) is a load. Theres no other times for you to be there, unless you want to capture keeps with a 20 man group against 2-3 DC with an emperor. Theres a reason you end up only frequenting azura once in a blue moon to defend emp - because people dont want to come back when decibel is on standby to come in with other groups as needed to defend the place with overwhelming numbers against a faction that simply cant put out those numbers on other servers.
Ultimately, if you have a magicka sorc that is losing emp when its 2bars vs 2bars - maybe he deserves to lose emp.

Well my lord, I do not know what to say. All points you bring up are valid, but as an emp (magicka btw) I know I didn't love being dethroned, but when I saw it happen (and I did not defend one bit that night) I was happy because I knew who would get it.
Here is how decibel sees it. Our home campaign (due to the timeline) is getting smashed by even fights. 2 bars vs 2 bars. Is it wrong for us to show up and fight for a friend and defend his emp? Sure he has had it alot, but still, I wont hand a throne over ever and neither would the lord. Idk, I just dont see an issue with it, more that DC wants their server back. IMO they can take it, but don't want it.
PS: Ive seen alot of beef on Herk, however hes a pretty amazing player and a phenomenal group play emperor.Hes a selfless player that is 100% interested in what the group needs opposed to his output.
From what I have seen, DC and EP needs alot more of those players.
