Fishing Overhaul

No thanks on fishing skill line, still havent gotten around to fishing but theres plenty of achievments, and fish actually give materials now or so i heard.
Id like too see rare fish give rare materials that lets crafters make a powerd up version of a consumable.
Food drink or potion.just an idea

Yeah hunting would be a cool mechanic too. In sure that ZOS will do something about these things after consol release because they'll have bags of cash to spend on developing. Please ZOS I believe in you!

That's absolutely not true. When there's more than one person fishing in the same hole the hole gets used up faster, but the drop rate of rare fish increases drastically (ZOS has even specifically said that's how it works). After spending a couple of hours fishing (keeping in mind that a good chunk of that time is going from hole to hole, and another good chunk of that time is just goofing around) with a group of people I'll typically have around a dozen blue fish, and maybe 40 green fish. If I spend that time fishing alone (which involves less time spent going from hole to hole, and virtually no time just goofing around), I'll have a fraction of that. With the right number of people there, you're going to get either a green, a blue, or a wet gunny sack almost every other cast of the line.

Ya this game needs more other activites.

Like Final Fantasy IX has Blitzball, very fun and addicting, better than playing FIFA in my mind.

As for fishing being that thing? I don't think so, neither is Legdermain. Both are too relied on "am I making enough gold, am I using my time wisely?"

Whatever it implements, it should be A LOT more about the fun rather than "am I making enough gold, am I using my time wisely"

One thing I just thought of across top my head is implement arena. You go get yourself an NPC that will fight for you in the arena. You decide what skills they have, you dress them up with armor and weapons. You go watch them fight in the arena against random computer NPC or other players NPC.

Would be nice if your hirelings, actually ran up to you and traded with you directly too. So you actually feel like you got something going in the game, rather than just getting mail. Perhaps that person can be one of your fighters in the arena.

Maybe even horseracing too.
You don't have to make it where the PC is always doing the work, sometimes we just like to watch the computer/NPC do it. But we like it being our NPC.

It'd be freakin nice if you actually went to the city and your hirelings just chilling there and interact with you, shout your name out.. I mean this is 2015, if you cant get a random voice reading some words than (which was what MAC did in 1995, type in words and computer reads them, simple like "Hello, Player1"), than theres something wrong.

Should even be some software by now, that cuts voice acting costs (paying 10million $$ on voice acting? just get this simple software, save you hours and millions of $$)... Like you tell someone to say "1234567890The quick brown fox jumped over the yellow fence" to the computer and BAM that's all you need, and now the computer can generate all the other words without having someone to say each individual thing... I mean, its 2015... They did that back in 1995, just think of the technological advancements we made and all those patents and such that aren't existent anymore.

Its not that technology is holding us back.
WE are holding technology back. WE are fully capable of 300 mpg...Heck... Solar power? That's old, we had that for long time.. Prefer using gas because we can make more $$ off of you. YET we still producing 30mpg cars... I think 20 years ago, we still had 30mpg cars too. Holding back that technology.
Several more examples too but I'm not going to list them.. Heck 1 more real quick, don't be surprised if apple can give you super crazy phones, but they want to put it out slowly, like they have phones super crazy, but they making it not so perfect so they can milk your money by releasing, iphone 6, iphone 7, iphone 8, iphone 9... They probably have all the way up to iphone10, but not going to get released until 4 more years because they want to milk your money by holding back the technology.
