Bikini Costume Please!

t.steve1991ub17_ESO
I need some skimpy armors. I play many different MMORPG's and in all of them I gravitate towards female warriors in scantily clad armors. Please add something like this thx!

So this can be turned into just another one of those typical Asian F2P MMO's? No thanks.

I am all for showing a little skin on some of the female dresses, but bikinis's, please no.

On the other hand, part of me wants them to be in game simply to see the angry outbursts and rants that would occur if they were added.
  • t.steve1991ub17_ESO
lol I don't think it will effect anyone's in game experience at all. People who want to look skimpy will use the costume, those who don't want to look skimpy wont. Saying other people dressing a certain way in a game ruins your experience is lame and you need to grow up

Actually you are incorrect. Research done by the group that maintains the "dress for success" research and books indicates that a "dress code" in the sense of a pattern of how people are garbed around you, does have a very strong effect on perceptions, actions and productivity.

In other words, yes, the people who are saying that dramatic visual style changes in costumes would negatively impact their experience have a reasonable amount of research to back up that effect.

Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Or request more appropriate costumes based off of lore/current visual game design. Not effin' bikinis.

Looking forward to seeing all those obese male Orcs finally put away their wedding dresses so they can strut their stuff in bikini costumes instead.

If you want to role play and me being in a bikini ruins that for you. that's fine don't group with me. If you are a role playing guild and me being a bikini is against the rules of the guild by all means don't invite me to your guild. that simple really.

That said, I wouldn't object to some of the skimpier armors from Skyrim, as long as they are done in a way that conveys lore and the art style of the game, rather than purely for titelation.

That isn't how costumes work in this game. Hence the men in wedding dresses. And gender equality in costuming is something many of who choose to play this game instead of the sexist Asian skin show MMOs fully support.

I would prefer female charactesr being able to wear chest-plates, not breastplates. ES Lore friendly? I dunno, but real life middle age lore friendly, I'm pretty sure.

Bikinis were made around 1946. I am pretty sure that's too modern for ES timeline.
  • t.steve1991ub17_ESO

If this really isn't a troll post, then feel free to run around without any armour on. Then you'll be in a bikini and getting all the protection that a bikini would actually give you.

I would be totally in favor of lore friendly outfits that showed a little bit of skin instead of just covering the whole body

When you hit VR2 you get the "Golden Saint" costume which shows a little skin/cleavage.
