I have at least one VR character and I find ESO too easy.
There's easy, and then there's ESO. Honestly my first play through of this game provided new zero challenging content. The only time I felt challenged was when I was doing the story line for Craglorn solo, and the IC first released and I was VR16. Other than those instances, VMSA gave me a challenge, as well as VWGT and IP before they were nerfed the first time. Now I can run through both of them with PUGs. I can only imagine how easy they'll be after this patch. I honestly miss the difficulty this game had during PC beta. You see, when you encounter challenging content, and overcome it, you feel accomplished. In this game, the only time I feel accomplished now is when I kill a group of players by myself in PvP.

Heck, its not even the feeling of acomplishment.

Its actually having a reason to pay attention and be engaged. You know, playing the game instead of watching it and wondering why you arent just watching a playthrough video instead.

Compared to WoW, rift, Guild Wars, Neverwinter, SW:TOR, tera.. ESO, whilst still easy, is slightly harder than all of these. You're saying what you're saying I'm assuming with top gear, top level, max CP.. of course the game is going to be easy with a set up like that

The only reason I find it easy is that I am at the CP cap. My family members have 0 CP, and I see a massive difference in our lowbies, even though they are the same level. It's like my character is twice their level. I suppose that I could spend the gold to take out all the CP from my lowbie.

i can't really its REALLY/VERY easy, but its easy enough for me ( as a casual player ) to blaze trough the content, the only content probably that i not yet complete is couple the trial and maelstorm arena

I voted for vet and just right.

By that i mean it has a good mix.

    Some content is easy.
    Some content is tough.
Some is downright dangerous and i haven't mastered it yet.

Fwiw, i thought some of the easiest content was silver and gold early zones. Upping the levels for challenges of one solo bad guy encounter originally meant to challenge one skill bar, few skill point rookies with not even full armor pieces ( much less SETS ) DOES NOT level up a challenge.

I think the difficulty is just right, but the reward is too hard to get. The RNG is just horrible. People doing vMA, one of the hardest content right now, should get a token so they can trade for the things they wants after x run. Same with normal MA, but you need like x10 more tokens and the gear should only be v15.

WGT and ICP were good BEFORE the nerf, vet content was good before the nerf. Now it's just way too simple.

Sure a lot of XP is required to get the Veteran Ranks. But keep in mind that its suppose to be a challenge. Veteran Ranks are basically like the hardcore stuff. Why? Take PvP for example. It can take up to 5 people to kill one V16, because V16 are so dang powerful. So yeah it should be a bit of a challenge to reach that kind of power. It should not be a walk in the park to get to V16. Its not that hard really either. Dungeons give you a daily bonus of 100k xp. Thats 1/8th of a Veteran level. Not including the quest and enemies killed, then you could get more. But just getting that daily dungeon bonus for 1 week and your 1 Veteran rank higher.

I think ESO is pretty well balanced. If you think if of it level wise. If your in the right zone you got no problems. If your a Veteran 1 in Auridon your all good. If your a Veteran 1 in Malabal Tor, then its your own fault that its to hard. (This being if like me your a Covenant player, then you start as a Veteran 1 in the Dominion.)

None of the options fall within how I feel about the game. I think generally what makes the game feel easy is the accumulation of Champion Points. My first character Korith, even though it was my second play through of EP, felt difficult to level. Maybe its because hes a DK and can be a bit tanky rather than DPS heavy. But regardless without the Champion Points that character took a good bit to get up to VR 2. Laerinel was my second character to climb to VR2 and was almost as difficult being a squishy NB. My Sorcerer, Templar and second NB have felt so easy with the 50-95 CP that I feel like Im cheesing the content. I hardly ever die with them and often enough blow through mobs whether it be single or multiple. World Bosses are much easier to solo and generally speaking I have no issues tackling Delve and Dungeon Bosses with them. Granted Magicka is quite strong right now and its got its hand in this. But I feel like the real culprit for anything feeling easy isnt the fault of the design of the content but that it doesnt scale with the CP the character has active.

I think this is really a matter of perspective, a seasoned gamer might say it's too easy whereas someone new to gaming might say it's too hard. Skills, abilities, gear, knowledge and experience all can vary a person's opinion.

I find it just right, there are easy areas and of course, there are areas if you fancy testing yourself that are a little more challenging.

I went outside once, the graphics were awesome but the gameplay sucked
