Because everyone knows that 1-50 is a lot easier.

Final bosses and even groups of mobs were easy as hell, even at VET4+. It was just sad. The only time I died was when I jumped off a cliff with my fellow guar.

ESO PvE is just right. If you have 4 and still learning mechanics how to get decent DPS any group dungeon can be pretty hard. For vet dungeons it can be way harder. Mst real endgame PvErs probably find all quests too easy and vet dungeons easy cause they are that good. Hardest 4 man content is vDSA atm which is easy to do with instruction, its the speedrun which is hard. 1-50 is easy But should be that way for people learning. it used to be so so much harder at launch but people complained it was too hard.

Not content-wise, but boredom-wise, yes I agree with you.
In terms of quality, I really enjoyed my EP 1-50 because it's my first time in ESO. My first introduction of new skills, experimenting new builds, etc.
The excitement is not the same when doing the other 2 alliances for VR content.
Difficulty-wise, though? They're about the same. In fact, I would say 1-50 a bit harder since you don't have all of your skills and less experience.
Overall? I think it's about right. There are content I personally can't "grind" because it's hard enough that I need to gather strong experienced allies, but for most content, they're solo-able with some challenge. Which is great.
If I want more challenge playing solo, I won't be playing a massively multiplayer online RPG.
With all Elder Scrolls games I've played, if I took the time to get the best gear, potions, spells, enchantments, the game became way too easy. What I ended up having to do a lot of times, was tone down my gear a bit to make the difficulty more fun. In Morrowind, for instance, you could make a potion that gave you 992,382,383,211 strength, walk up to Vivec an kill him with one punch.
I think the difficulty is just right. If you're fussing about your gear, updating it every level, leveling with full sets of blue/purple/legendary gear, using builds you spent hours on youtube looking up; then the game will be very easy. If however, you don't worry about gear and just use whatever skills seem fun to you, regardless of their efficiency, then the game feels a bit harder.
