My personal opinion is that the 1-50 zones might be a tad easy, but I believe that's ok because there needs to be a place for new players to learn the game. Considering ESO as a whole, I am currently satisfied with the level of difficulty.

I have 1 VR2 char and when I go to play my alts, I still die a lot. Honestly since they seem to have nerfed the leveling zones, for me, it's about right. I'm obviously not a hardcore gamer.

    Let me clarify my vote
-I personally find it too easy especially 1 - 50 BUT I was around during closed BETA when it was a lot harder. I personally LOVED the challenging game-play but I'm not sure that many would recieve this as well as I did.

Perhaps if 1 - 15 didn't change but somewhere around 15-25 it changed slightly and then 25-30 or so and on it was back to the closed BETA difficulty (around November 2013) I personally would like it.

*Not sure what having VR's has to do with this poll other than maybe having VR10-VR14 and doing group content.

Yesterday, I finished the entire Cadwell silver in 5 hours. With my VET1.

Final bosses and even groups of mobs were easy as hell, even at VET4+. It was just sad. The only time I died was when I jumped off a cliff with my fellow guar.

Serious question (I'm only at VR 4-5) what's so hard about the VR zones if done at level range?

I couldn't figure out a better way to get the perspective of both new and established players while demonstrating how opinions may vary depending on how far into the game you have progressed. W/0 having 20 different choices.

Not content-wise, but boredom-wise, yes I agree with you.

In terms of quality, I really enjoyed my EP 1-50 because it's my first time in ESO. My first introduction of new skills, experimenting new builds, etc.

The excitement is not the same when doing the other 2 alliances for VR content.

Difficulty-wise, though? They're about the same. In fact, I would say 1-50 a bit harder since you don't have all of your skills and less experience.

Overall? I think it's about right. There are content I personally can't "grind" because it's hard enough that I need to gather strong experienced allies, but for most content, they're solo-able with some challenge. Which is great.

If I want more challenge playing solo, I won't be playing a massively multiplayer online RPG.

I find the difficulty to be just right. The 1-50 quests can be a bit easy, but every once in a while you'll run across a boss or a group of enemies that can give just a little trouble, and require a different approach than you would normally take.

It crosses between being just a smidge too easy and a smidge too hard. Overall I'd say it's just about right if you're the proper level for the area. I wish I didn't have to rely on other players quite so much for quest bosses.

I'm only level 32 right now, but on my Nord Dragon Knight I feel like almost all NPCs and solo quests are pushovers. Admittedly I haven't done much group content, but the solo questing experience has felt really laughable, to the point where I literally do not even take damage anymore.

I think it makes the important Main Quest missions seem very anti-climactic when I can kill the last "boss" in a few seconds without taking any damage... and I'm not even that good.

I'm more of a solo Elder Scrolls guy than I am a group MMO guy, so my opinion is probably biased. I'm of the opinion that at least half of the fights should be against NPCs that actually force me to think outside of bashing 1 or 2 buttons.

With all Elder Scrolls games I've played, if I took the time to get the best gear, potions, spells, enchantments, the game became way too easy. What I ended up having to do a lot of times, was tone down my gear a bit to make the difficulty more fun. In Morrowind, for instance, you could make a potion that gave you 992,382,383,211 strength, walk up to Vivec an kill him with one punch.

I think the difficulty is just right. If you're fussing about your gear, updating it every level, leveling with full sets of blue/purple/legendary gear, using builds you spent hours on youtube looking up; then the game will be very easy. If however, you don't worry about gear and just use whatever skills seem fun to you, regardless of their efficiency, then the game feels a bit harder.

Takes 1-2 hours to find a pve group for anything. Then it takes hours to go find another team that won't wipe at the first boss. Nerf group content so I can get in and out without wasting time and back to something fun.

At game launch, people were complaining it was too hard. So, they began nerfing a couple bosses here and there. Then, people were compaining VR zones were too hard compared to the 1-50, they nerfed the VR zones. Now, people complain the game is too easy... (I supposed it is because at launch everyone were wearing crapy outfittings). Now, that we are all in sunshine outfits, the game becomes too easy!

Conclusion, for the devs listening; don't follow complains, you'll regret it!

I think it's important to break down exactly what elements people find easy, hard, just right.

I personally find the quest mobs, some of the elites, public dungeons, and dark anchors too easy.

I think that instanced dungeons and world bosses are appropriate as they are.

I have a VR character with a whopping 4 champion points that I haven't assigned yet.

ESO PvE is just right. If you have 4 and still learning mechanics how to get decent DPS any group dungeon can be pretty hard. For vet dungeons it can be way harder. Mst real endgame PvErs probably find all quests too easy and vet dungeons easy cause they are that good. Hardest 4 man content is vDSA atm which is easy to do with instruction, its the speedrun which is hard. 1-50 is easy But should be that way for people learning. it used to be so so much harder at launch but people complained it was too hard.

Well, now they're pretty close, though VRs are a little harder at level- 1-50 is a faceroll- you don't even have to know how to dodge and/or block. Until they nerfed it because of people complaining about the difficulty, VRs were a lot harder than 1-50. And knowing if you've gotten that far is a pretty good indicator, because several people haven't.

You're right, to a certain extent. In Oblivion and Skyrim, at levels 1-15 or so (all depending on personal experience and difficulty sliders) your character was a total gimp. Just rebooted Oblivion the other day and my level 1 scrub was getting owned by rats.

As to your point about "fussing with gear", well I do that just a little bit in ESO insofar as I am kind of roleplaying as a nord barbarian who want to one day become a master blacksmith... so I do make gear for myself, but not in an obsessive way.

I've pretty much stopped making gear for a good while now, at least 3 or 4 levels since I see now it's just a waste of time. I still do the crafting dailies once in a while just for the RP of it, and because I think the crafting is pretty well done. But with just a minimum of effort on my part to gear up I just destroy everything in my path. I can't imagine how much more sad the game would be if I were a true min/max MMO junkie...

I'd say it's alittle unbalanced. Some places are alittle too easy, some alittle to hard. Most are about right. It also depends on the type of charactor one plays. There are places my 6VR Desto/Resto Templer can walk into and just own, while my 6VR NB could barely make it through the front door before being killed. Yet there are places, (Lion's Den), my NB can sneak around killing nearly at will, while my other chars have a tough time.
