This is a real immersion killer and very annoying. I want to play a game not watch an advert livestream. On the EU server we have it three times over in three languages as well.

The only time I ever want to see a big yellow message is if the server needs to come down.

If you must do it then keep it to the chat box. We can all see that without it messing up the game for us.

It's honestly the most annoying thing you have done so far - worse than B2P, worse than the store itself. It really ruins the enjoyment of the game.

Please stop it. We all know the store is there. It is all over the launcher. You can't miss it. Don't mess up the game like this.

Does the Addon No Thank You stop these things? I have held off on getting this addon (I want to keep the list manageable) but I will add it if it makes these things stop.

If you want immersion, turn off your interface completely then.

Otherwise anything on your screen should be immersion killing if you're complaining about a message that pops up a few times then disappears rather quickly.

Interesting comment. I would imagine system alerts forced by staff can't be blocked though. Worth a try!

If we're now going to be forced to use add ons to block the sales messages that are intentionally designed to duplicate the "server is going down" messages (so tacky), how will we know when the server is actually going down?

ZOS if you insist on flashing in game ads in our faces, please make them look different from the important system messages.

In a thread that was created when this happened National Pet Day..

You can set your chat tabs to not show system messages. Right-click a tab, click Options, uncheck the System box. You should no longer sees system messages.

Although I'm not sure if that will stop it from popping up on screen.. or just the chat box.

To be honest, anyone who has been around for.. well.. a week or two, should know when the server is going down for maintenance.
