1. I have some crazy forum name that looks randomly generated. Where can I get that fixed?
2. I'm actually ready to just go ahead and straight away buy the game outright if they finally added Unarmed combat viability. When I tried the game in open beta, I was really upset that at the current time they had 4 ultra specific classes that were not only not customizable in the least, but just.. thematically specific. Hopefully they added lots more classes to those beta classes. The only character I care about in any elder scrolls is to make an unarmed fighter / brawler / monk type guy. If not I guess ill try it out to see whats new, but ill probably be depressed if not even that simplest of core elder scrolls play styles (unarmed) was added. I also like being supportive/healer, but unarmed is like a staple super requirement. Is unarmed now a thing?

    1. You can contact CS to get your forum name changed. Yours tells us that you joined in round 14 of the beta (that's what the b14_ESO part of your name is).
    2. You're going to be disappointed on this front. No unarmed combat skill line. You can fight unarmed, but you're not going to do a whole heck of a lot, and you're going to get creamed. No new classes either. Frankly, though, with the different weapon, armour, guild, world, and Alliance War skill lines available to everyone, I don't really see much of a need for new classes. There's plenty of customization available within the classes. Others may disagree with me on that point.

    Personally< I always hated the unarmed skill line in Elder Scrolls games. You were never "monk like" you just punched people to death. You didn't do any sweet ninja moves or anything fun. It's also crazy to assume you could punch through steel armor and hurt someone enough to do anything to them so I'm personally glad it's not in game :)

    Hehe nope sorry OP, no unharmed combat at all ingame, which is a good thing IMO.

    As you would be utterly annhiliated in PVP, stamina builds, finally after a year of harry potter types in bathrobes with staffs have had their day, its rise of the stamina builds now, but unarmed combat hehe
    Once I was a lamb, playing in a green field. Then the wolves came. Now I am an eagle and I fly in a different universe.

    I agree. I find plenty of customization having different weapon builds for each class.

    It is not unheard of in the series, though.

    I mean the unarmed combat not being an actual build. Look at Skyrim.

    Nothing wielded by a single man punched through steel armor. Not swords, not axes, not maces, and not fists. How swords worked around armor was by becoming thinner to fit into gaps at the joints. Maces work by the application of blunt force - the blow does not touch skin but the momentum does carry through and damage the body through excess acceleration (physics). Axes, depending on the design, worked as a hybrid between swords and maces. Fists work on the same principle as maces: slam the target hard enough and the excess acceleration can make internal organs a mess without even contacting the skin.

    Although, before a knight was even killed, he was wrestled to exhaustion and captured. Late medieval armor was just so protective you rarely killed an armored opponent - it was also as expensive as a modern day sports car so only the rich sported armor suits.

    Unarmed in TES4 worked on the principle of exhausting your opponent; each blow drained fatigue (stamina) more than health, making your opponent less and less effective with each punch. Higher skill levels also allowed disarming the opponent. I saw and used it more as a backup fighting style, for when I myself was disarmed.

    Skill lines in ESO have abilities to them, unlike single-player TES games: this is where those "ninja moves" can be added for Unarmed skill line(s).

    Nope OP, and never expect an unarmed line. Would be a waste of the limited resources they have anyway honestly.
